As this title says, this is probably one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in. We stayed on the 4th floor in a 2 bedroom apartment facing Prague Castle. The views are amazing and the apartment really is a top quality base for anybody wanting to experience all of Prague. The castle is opposite the apartment up the hill,...

Perfect location, beautiful building in the center of everything, still quiet and secure. We can see the Karlov bridge from the window. Everything in hotel is exquisite, original art in rooms and public spaces, antique furnishings and very modern bathrooms. We saw couples talking wedding photos in the entrance. I love the glass elevator with two doors. Big comfortable beds...

We booked a 3 double bedroom apartment for a weekend with friends in November. The apartment was beautiful, clean and well presented. It was perfectly located, overlooking the square with views up to the palace, and a stones throw from St Charles Bridge and a walk into Old Town. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. I would definitely...

Location, accommodation, restaurants, and sight seeing were fantastic, What really made the stay unbelievable and unforgettable were the staff at Malostranska Residence. In particular Marketa and Nicole went out of their way to help with restaurant, sightseeing oranising taxi's and so on, but most of all made us feel at home, thank you once again.

This is the best place staying in Prague, because of their special flats Penthouse and Presidential Suite. They have have great views and each of course a whirlpool. But most important is that there are wonderful ladies, Marketa and Marie from the reception. They are very pleasant and charming and help you in any situation.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
