Very conveniently located restored historic building. 1 block from the river, 2-3 blocks from Charles Bridge. Impressive entry way and reception area. Large period rooms with replaced woodwork and a number of luxury touches. Spectacular drapes, Large bathroom with bidet and granite walls, but shower door is not impressive. Easy to use free WiFi and plenty of plugs, Buffet breakfast...

It was so hard to decide where to stay in Prague! Close to the city and shops? Or to stay in old town, right next to Charles Bridge? Definitely the second! We picked the best location, best hotel! The size of the room-wow! So clean,so beautiful! Excellent breakfast choice as well.

Lovely hotel, really nice clean rooms, a bit of taste of culture this hotel really adds to the whole experience of your trip to Prague. Breakfast is as you would expect abroad with a nice selection of continental foods. Free WIFI throughout the hotel is also a plus. A fantastic base next to Charles Bridge and a short 5-10min walk...

The hotel has grate location in the center of Prague near the Charles Bridge. The room was clean, spacious. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the speed of the wifi, it was very slow, but this e was not such a big issue since in being in Prague it is just a shame...

Stayed in the Charles Bridge palace hotel in February. Lovely hotel right in the center of things. Its about a five minute walk to the square. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are lovely and warm. We had breakfast there each morning and there was plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel and we will...

Lovely hotel, within 40 meters of Charles bridge. Lovely rooms. Breakfast is appalling so best avoided. The adage would be "food is for fuel not enjoyment" Try to find local Czech places rather than the touristic areas - though there is some great food in the square also

Supberb location, no flashy reception but the staff were very helpful, our room 210 was very big, with a big bed 6'. dressing room, bathroom, high ceilings, tea/coffee but no milk and none available, very clean, the breakfast was European, great selection but if you are British and want a full English that's not available, but what we had we...

If you're looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay within walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the city centre look no further. The room was spacious and well-equipped - far exceeding our expectations. Breakfast is available from 07.30 to 10.30 - a blessing when you need an early start (or a lie-in) and although you'll not get a...

A beautiful, traditional hotel just a stones throw from Charles Bridge and very close to all other attractions. Room was large, comfortable and despite other reviews was very quiet. After returning from a day out it was fantastic to return to our warm and cosy room. The room was well equipped and complete with lovely toiletries and plenty of towels....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
