The hotel is a little difficult to find because if you didn't see the pics on internet you can't easily read its name on the wall, since it is yellow on white. The place is nice, extremely clean, the staff nice and lovely. Breakfast was included and you can enjoya big bouffet with international choises. Very good and in the...

Our stay at the Zlata Vaha hotel was great! Clean rooms, perfect central location, a nice breakfast but most of all the hotel's porter made our trip this amazing. Genuinely kind and interested in his guests. Enjoy your stay here!

My sister and I stayed at the Zlata Vaha this January for a week. It's about 30 minutes drive away from the airport, and in an interview excellent location for all the sights of Prague. The Powder Tower is a 5 minute walk away, Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square about 15/20 minutes walk. The breakfast is ok -...

Great low-profile hotel in the centre of Prague, close both to the railway station and old town. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Nothing fancy, but if you do not like fancy hotels (I don't) it is definitely worth considering.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and were quite happy with it. Well located, staff friendly and all very clean. The room was spacious, with a size king bed. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for three nights with my wife and 2,5 year old child. First of all, the room was really big, the ceiling height was much more than expected, so we felt comfortable even with lots of bags and stuff for the child. The room and the common areas (including the toilets in the basement floor) were all clean....

It is a very good located hotel. 10 min. to old town, 5 min. to main train station. Good accommodation. Good breakfast. BUT, choose your hotel away from the street otherwise you can not sleep because of the tram noises until morning. It is like as if the tram goes through your room. Reception is not friendly.

The hotel and rooms are very basic, but clean. Close to everything, walking distance. The major problem was that we got a room facing street and every time a tram passed by seems like a miniearthquake and a terrible noise. It is almost impossible to sleep since the trams are operating late at night and very early in the morning....

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
