After our reservation in another hotel was cancelled and we found hotel Elite as a compensation at the last minute. And were pretty happy about this move after all. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast selection is great. But the biggest advantage is the location.

Once again a wonderful stay the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is great with plenty of choice. We stayed for three nights the location is ideal for all the main sights everything is within walking distance with trams and the underground two minutes away should you require them.

We stayed at Hotel Elite for 8 days. We wanted a smaller, local hotel - not a chain. The room was just big enough for the 3 of us. We were on the 4th floor and it was quiet. It's a 2 min walk to the Tram/Metro so easy to get around Prague. We LOVED the tram. The staff was...

Just back from a 4 nite stay in Prague. The hotel was very central and only 10 to 15 minutes walk to most attractions. Very clean and the bed was really comfy. Bathrooms look like they have just been updated. Staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was great. Special thanks to George for his great service. Would definitely...

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in early April and noticed a high level of hospitality, and professional service. In addition to the charm associated with a historic building, the rooms were quiet and clean. The hotel is in walking distance to the old town square and other attraction places, as well as to a modern shopping center. We...

The good - Close to the train, tram lines around Prague and the hotel is easy to find. The rooms were clean and well presented. The bad - I found that as i was a single travel they put me in the smallest room, it was one and half of my arm span. The walls were very thin i could...

We stayed for four nights during Easter and were satisfied with everything, since the location was perfect (walking distance to everything, and some of the nicest places just around the corner) and everything was clean and tidy. Noisy rooms, but that's what you get when choosing this kind of hotel. Not a problem for us. Breakfast was ok. They put...

This was a very nice hotel in a very good location. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. The breakfast was extensive and well laid out and the service was very good. Good location, close to Charles bridge, old town ... The hotel is very beautiful, room are also. One big disadvantage is the noise from others rooms. In my case, people in the next room woke me up early, when they were chatting together. Which can be annoying when it's 6:00 am.

An old monastery and therefore the rooms are quite compact, but comfortable, clean and well equipped. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bar prices good compared to U.K. Breakfast very nice with plenty of choice including for vegetarians.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
