Funny hotel especially when you're used to lodge in standard 4 or 5 stars hotels: first impression there isn't a real lobby (only sofas at the entrance and then you face the desk ... surprising for " a boutique hotel". Then when you take the lift to go to your room, you face a large corridor in which the doors...

Friendly welcome awaited us at this hotel. Staff were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. We were here for 4 nights on a bed and breakfast basis, we had no issues with the hotel and although located on a busy street when in your room the whole place was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was average but standard for...

Without doubt the Jalta Hotel gave my girlfriend and I the best service we ever received during one of our holidays. If kindness, hospitality, service and comfort are on your top priorities during a holiday, this hotel is just perfect. For example: during a rainy day, they gave us - for free - great quality umbrella's; when we checked in,...

Great location, nice rooms, good service. Not the best breakfast in town but okay. The hotel was lovely and as said by other reviewers very close to main shops and the old town market, tram routes. Would strongly recommend this hotel

Stunning hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast selection! Hotel is in walking distance of most attractions. Room was perfectly cleaned. Beautiful rooms however we booked a superior room and to be fair i couldnt see any difference between this and a regular room, view from the window wasn't great we basically could see pipes and buildings.

Stayed here to visit the Christmas markets and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.there was an issue with our room the first night which was resolved instantly, the rooms are not the most up to date but the front of house staff are just delightful and easily make up for any short comings. Would strongly recommend this hotel.

This place is a haven- restaurant is spotless and service great. We had flown in very early and after a walk around the beautiful market and old town we needed a quiet and warming meal with great service, which is what we got. Staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel looked lovely and as said by...

I was pleasantly surprised with our room which contained robes, slippers and expensive toiletries which were restocked daily. The view was superb, I loved looking out over the square from our balcony, watching as the Xmas markets set themselves up each morning. The Cold War bunker beneath the hotel was very interesting, loved the escape tunnels which run underneath the...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
