We stayed for 3 nights near the end of September before our Scenic River Cruise. What a great hotel, the room was amazing, great hot and cold buffet breakfast to start the day, internet in the lobby for free which was great. The hotel was very convenient. We walked everywhere in Prague and it is a very safe city. Would...

The Marriott ticks all the boxes - excellent location, beautiful lobby, good reception, well equipped and clean rooms. And yet, and yet..... it is expensive (US$25 extra for wifi when you are staying in a suite ?), once inside you could be anywhere in the world, and there is little atmosphere in the lobby, bar, or retaurant. Built in the...

Good location - easy walk to Old Town Square and just a 15 min walk to Charles Bridge and the other side of the river. Usual Marriott hotel room with good beds, nice bathroom, stiff charge for internet access! The concierge staff were helpful and we used them quite a bit. They organised our overnight sleeper train tickets from Prague...

Mattiott's are functional and clean and usually good value although we felt this was a bit overpriced. Rooms and services were typically Marriott, it's all there in terms of room size and services. The Prague Marriott really scores on location as it is absolutely spot on for a short walk to all the historic spots in the Old Town be...

Loved it. We could step out the door and walk to everything. Old Town, State Opera, Train Station, Charles Bridge, museums. The concierge was great. We told her what types of restaurants and museums we liked and her advice was flawless. The elite lounge was excellent. Full breakfast, great pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres, late evening cakes.

We were two women travelling together, and could not have been more pleased with this hotel. It is an easy walk to major attractions in the Old Town as well as to good shopping and an outdoor market. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
