This hotel is at a walking distance from the main plaza and a little further from the Charles Bridge. Public transportation is good, I recommend to buy tickets for full days, will be cheaper tan buying them per trip.

We spent three nights at the Marriott at the end of our Tauck Danube Cruise. Overall the hotel was fine but we were disappointed not to get a room with a king size bed which was our request and preference. Apparently there are limited rooms with king size beds. Although our bathroom was large and for the most part appeared...

The hotel is ideally located. Although it is convenient to the attractions and restaurants, it is in a much quieter location than the hotels which are located in the middle of Old Town. The rooms and the lounge are above average for a Marriott. If I was only rating the physical features of the hotel and not the employees, I...

Dear Rny321, Thank you for taking the time to write and share a review of your very recent stay at the Prague Marriott Hotel. I must admit I was saddened to learn of your experience on this occasion as it is certainly not the standard we pride ourselves on. We always strive to make sure that all of our guests...

I would recommend the Prague Marriott as a great location for a stay, it is in easy walking distance to Old Town, close to some good cafes and restaurants and also close to some good shops. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was roomy and facilities were good. The downstairs lounge areas were comfortable for socialising...

We arrived to find that our room was available earlier than expected. After an overnight flight, this was indeed welcome news! The king room was perfectly cleaned, temperature was great, and we fell into bed and stretched...such a great feeling after being cramped in an airplane for 7+ hours. The room was perfectly quiet and had everything we needed. The...

The Prague Marriott is ideally located in the centre of Prague, not too far from the Old Town so lots of great restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Service from the hotel staff was excellent, couldn't fault them. We stayed here for a conference and everything we wanted to happen just did, without us having to ask. The service really was...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
