Location is a 20 min walk from city centre,so a little inconvenient .The Hotel would have been nice in its day but appears a little tired now. Bar staff were very slow to serve customers. Rooms were clean ,decor outdated.

This is the second occasion that my wife and I have stayed in the hotel and we had a wonderful experience both times. Had a 2 night stay here with my Wife booked last minute. First observation the star rating appears to be a little wide of the mark personally I would rate the place as a 3 star plus. The room though spacious was dated, radios in bedside cabinets and an old CRT TV, decidedly Eastern European. Staff were very friendly, breakfast...

The hotel was great – spacious room and as told by many before, very luxurious bath room. Breakfast was excellent. Location a bit far from city center, but worth climbing, as the old town surrounding is really magical.

The Savoy Hotel is not a plastic and glass multi-story bland antiseptic brand-imaged edifice, where tight artificial smiles look up at you from the ultra-cool designer reception counter. No, the Savoy was designed and built in a classic 1900´s Bohemian style only twenty years ago, with spacious, but `clubby´ public areas, large bedrooms, bathrooms and the luxurious feel of that...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
