Friendly and helpful staff, our room was clean and nice with a great rooftop view of the city (room 640). Great breakfast buffet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, a diverse selection of muesli and yoghurt. If you want to grab a double espresso or a whisky in the middle of the night the honesty bar is at your...

Stayed here for 2 nights. This hotel is smaller and less expensive from its sister Hotel Joseph but I found it to be more pleasant. Location is great. Breakfast exceptional ! Nice touch were fresh tea and cookies at the entrance, plus snacks and drinks at the lobby. We had two rooms. They were small, but still very comfortable. Hotel...

This is a really good boutique hotel. It is not cheap, but you get value for money. Room is clean, has everything you need. Breakfast is really great, with lots of fresh products, fruits and vegetables, choices for special egg dishes. Really good. You can also get coffee and snacks during the day at the lobby. They have a jogging...

We found the Maximillian through Rick Steves and Trip Advisor and we are so impressed that we do not want to leave! Every detail has been carefully thought out and in your room, you will find robe, slippers, an umbrella (which we despterately needed), a plug adaptor for Americans, a personal Nespresso machine, bath salts, etc. The breakfast is a...

The hotel is at a great location with the major attractions like Astronomical Clock at 3 minutes walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful. At the reception desk Polina helped us with all the sightseeing arrangements . Their concept of an Honesty Bar was something really nice .

On arrival at the hotel they had prepared champagne in our room with a mixed fruit option. The staff had written a lovely congratulations message on our mirror which gave us the best of starts to our lovely weekend in Prague. The location is central, the breakfast was great and the staff were welcoming, we can't wait to return!!

We booked this hotel based on all the other fantastic reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed. After booking, we emailed the hotel to arrange for their driver to pick us up from the airport. The email exchange was prompt and helpful and the driver was ready and waiting for us as agreed. There was even a small welcome gift in...

It is a better than average hotel but I would not say it is very good as I am not sure this hotel is good value for money , however, it is possibly very good for Prague. It does have nice features and the location is great, however it isn't cheap compared to some very nice four stars I've stayed therefore...

We arrived early in the morning and were so ready to be told to come back after 2 pm for our room. With pleasant surprise, Dimitri, the hotel reception, checked us in and gave us a room at 9 am! We could shower and change and have a fresh start for our first day in visit. We were even more...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
