We spent one night at the this hotel. Its location was perfect for exploring the old town area and the Christmas Markets. Breakfast was tasty and worth the extra cost. The staff were helpful and professional. This hotel could use some refurbishment. Some of the furniture was stained and unsightly.

Situated near enough, but not too near, the main areas of interest. Most staff helpful, but one lady on reception definitely not helpful or polite (a bad day?). Rooms adequate and clean though ours was a marathon walk from the lift and stairs. Handy for the Christmas markets

Not far away from the sights, this is a really great little hotel. The only downside is that they organised a cab for me to the airport that only took cash and of course i was trying to run down my cash in local money so I'm sure i came off second best in the deal,

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
