Unitas provided everything stated in trip advisor's reviews. Excellent staff, clean, quiet. Every need met. I agree with a write-up about not the best wifi. However, I sat in the piano area and had excellent, uninterrupted wifi service. Also stayed in the piano area when we had a couple hours before our train left. Unitas offers incredible peace and a...

We were delighted with the Unitas. It’s in a small street very close to the centre of Prague – just a few minutes walk to the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square. Our room was large and airy (mind you we did get an upgrade) and looked out on to the hotel courtyard but I imagine they are...

1. Unitas Hotel location is awesome. Its within 7 mins walk to the Astronomical Clock / Old Town Square and 10 mins walk on the other side to Charles Bridge. So full marks on location. And its in a quiet location. 2. This is a classic hotel that was served as a Convent then converted to a Communist Secret Police...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is well situated, less than 10 minutes to many of Prague's main attractions, but on a quiet street and across from a police station. Property is reasonably simple but rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You see the same faces every day, so they get to know you. Great...

We visited in January. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious, spotless and comfortable. Breakfast tastey and plentiful. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

We booked the Unitas based upon its reputation and location. Both served us well. The location was minutes from the old town, but far enough away to be so quiet you could hear the birds sing and no tourists wandered onto our street. Our parking was locked and gated, so totally safe, and our suite overlooked the interior square which...

Staff : Polite, friendly and very efficient. One of the hotel’s greatest assets. Location : The hotel provides an excellent base to explore Prague by foot. The Old Town Square, Charles Bridge etc are less than 10 min easy walking distance. The river is even closer. A tram stop is nearby with many tram lines providing quick and easy access...

Extremely pleasant and helpful staff, excellent location, fantastic breakfast, very clean and comfortable rooms, quiet and respectable atmosphere.... one cannot really ask for more. The WiFi connection in my room could have been somewhat better, but I have been told this will be solved soon. Highly recommended.

The hotel was great - friendly service, comfortable room, breakfast with a very nice variety of choices. Very quiet, very comfortable, and the location is great - away from the noise, and yet close to the city center. Highly recommend to everyone!

Great and quiet in a great location. A peaceful atmosphere at breakfast with delicious food and fresh juice. The room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and big size bed. 5 minutes walking from Charles Bridge and a lot of bars and restaurants in the era. Book it know if you are looking a real European experience!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
