The Four Seasons Hotel Prague enjoys a central location near the St Charles Bridge, which many guests appreciate for its scenic river views and convenience. While the hotel's elegant atmosphere and professional service earn accolades from visitors, some travelers question the value, pointing to high rates that don't always match the expected luxury—particularly with the amenities and dining options, which some find lacking. The rooms, although comfortable, receive mixed feedback regarding their decor and occasional cleanliness issues. Despite these criticisms, the overall cleanliness and attentive staff are frequently commended.

Prior to arriving at Four Seasons we were in Prague already 10 days spent in two wonderful hotels on the Mala Strana and Castle side of the river.

We are no strangers to the Four Seasons hotel chain, but it was to be the first time in Prague. For years I used to prefer boutique hotels in Prague, but decided to go for FS for a change.

Still from the US, I contacted the hotel's GM, Mr. Stephane Gras, via email, asking to reserve the high floor room with the amazing view of the Castle spanning over the river to the Charles Bridge. If such room was not available, I would not book the stay.

I was reassured, and we booked our 6 nights stay with Amex platinum for other possible upgrades.

On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the GM, Mr. Gras, at the reception. We were told that we were upgraded to a suite.

Unfortunately, upgrade is not always an upgrade. A shabby looking living room, that I did not need or want, did not make up for the complete absence of the most important part - the view. The bedroom drapes needed to be shut , as the bedroom faced a high rise commercial building. The living room window faced a closed for the season, terrace restaurant.

What a disappointment ! I spent the whole evening protesting. I did not want the "upgrade " , just the room with the view I booked.

Later the next day, we were moved into a wonderful room on the 7th floor, with a heavenly view. We could partially open the windows and hear the musicians playing on the Charles Bridge. Never closed the drapes ! Wonderful view to wakeup to, wonderful view to fall asleep. In my beloved Prague!

It all turned around quickly, the hotel is luxurious, the pool and spa fantastic, the staff extremely friendly and helpful at every turn. The lobby is beautiful, we made a point to sit down for a drink , even ice cream.

We loved the wonderfully friendly service at the breakfast buffet and enjoyed chatting with the young ladies in Czech.

We had room service dinner once, it was very nicely presented.
The various gifts left in the room throughout our stay were appreciated.
Bvlgari toiletries were a nice touch.

All is well, that ends well ...

We are so glad our family of 5 stayed here! The staff was so friendly and I appreciated how they asked us to wear masks around the hotel- even putting a bag of masks, sanitizing wipes and spray in both our connecting rooms. My kids loved the pool, the food (both breakfast and lunch, and room service!) and truly they made the best vanilla latte we've had in Europe. My husband and I used the gym which was nice and I had a pedicure at the spa, We talked with the concierge about my husband wanting a road bike to use in Prague. The concierge was so amazing in finding him the perfect bike from a town an hour away! We were totally impressed by how they made us feel. I loved the beds and sheets- and the location was perfect for everywhere we went. Would definitely return.

We wanted to make sure our trip to Europe ended on a positive note so we chose the Four Season for our last three nights including New Years Eve. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice. The location on the river was perfect for sightseeing and the staff were friendly and attentive to our every need. Special tip...try the French Toast...best every.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Prague at the end of a 10 day trip through Central Europe. Our trip included stays at a few iconic hotels and we wanted to close our trip with a stay at the Four Seasons. The location is convenient to most Old Town attractions and the common areas of the hotel are in line with the brand promise. However, the room (especially the bathroom) and the restaurant, Cotto Crudo, were a huge disappointment. The bathroom is worthy of a much lower brand and the restaurant is pricier than a few of the Michelin-rated restaurants in Prague. While I understand there is a premium for service, the food was flavorless and the portions were ridiculous. I found the hotel and its restaurant are hugely overpriced.

While the location and architecture is amazing, the guest rooms are very tired. I appeared by furnishings and finishes it had not been updated since the early 2000’s. Also, they allowed guests/ locals to use the bar area with their dogs and allowed them to sit on the furniture in the lounge area. I love animals, but when you are paying Four Seasons rates, you would expect that any common area furnishings will be free of pet fur (I happen to be allergic), slobber, etc. That was very unappealing to me. I was uncomfortable dogging a dog, which sheds, roaming around near our feet as we are trying to enjoy a cocktail.

Our lovely weekend couldn't be more perfect: the Four Seasons in Prague takes advantage of an incredible location, sitting on the banks of the river Vlatva. Composed of thee distinguished buildings, all of them come into one as the cozy interiors extend throughout all the ambiences; the Lobby especially resembles of one from a Boutique Hotel with detailed features and warm vibes.
Staff excelled in providing us of the best experience and walking us through a perfect visit of the city; loved the Afternoon Tea in the Lobby Lounge with home-made pastries and the loveliest Tea selection.
Failed to experience the SPA but will definitely going to try it upon our next visit in Prague!

The hotel is at a wonderful location, with a beautiful view. Overall the experience was a let down and certainly not what is expected of a Four Seasons property.

On the positives, the Concierge desk was good and very helpful, Veronika helped us with a few queries well. The location and views were very good, you are close to the Charles bridge and at walking distance from the Old town and castle etc.

The negatives the SPA experience was a let down, the rooms could not be adjusted with correct temp settings and the therapist was not very good. More importantly, service levels were very slow, anything you requested took long time.. eg just a request for pillow and laundry collection needed reminder calls. Housekeeping was also a concern and the rooms did not have working safety latches (broken).

We've stayed at other Four Seasons Hotels and have been blown away by the service and luxury, this one was not close to that level.

Room tip: If you can - get the rooms with the river view.

My friends and I stayed here for a birthday celebration. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The location was great, close to everything but not so close that you are overwhelmed by tourists. Benjamin at the front desk was amazing, he took such great care of us and really made an impact. The lobby, hallways and our room were spotless. The doorman Ivan was great and super friendly, always ready to jump in and help. We spent some time in the spa and in the bar - the cocktails were amazing! This place is an absolute must visit.

The hotel's location is most probably the best in Prague, walking distance to the cities' main tourist spots. Just a short walk to get to old town and Charles Bridge.
Moreover, the hotel staff is extremely professional and always anticipating the client's needs.

Four Seasons haven't disappointed me once again. The customer service stands out with exceptional attention to every detail, especially during breakfast. One gets pampered by every Staff member from check-in, housekeeping, breakfast staff to doorkeepers. It is obvious that they are very well-trained. The suite had probably the best view in Prague on the Weltava river, the Charles Bridge and the Castle. It was very spacious, modern, but cozy. There is nothing to complain about. Keep up the excellent job, Four Seasons Prague!
