We just concluded a most satisfactory 5-night stay in apartment #4. It was huge and the location is excellent for walking around Prague. The building is old (11th century?), though the age was part of the charm for us. Doors and windows are a bit squeaky, and not square. The toilet door was extremely loud in the still of the...

No doubt the Ungelt is old fashioned, and I would imagine in the Summer very noisy at night, being as it is right opposite a club, but for a weekend in October it was very good. Clean, spacious, nice staff. But fancy it ain't, but it gave us just what we were looking for.

It was June 2016 and 3 ladies ranging from 43-75 stayed at this hotel. We booked a 2 room apartment and the first thing we noticed was that 1. there was no AC (not announced on their website) and 2. there was only 1 standing fan for the 2 room apartment. We requested an additional fan as soon as we...

Was on second floor in room on outside of building and street below was very loud. Also because my room had no air conditioning i had to have the windows open to keep the room cool. Room was clean and bathroom/WC room were modern and clean.

We originally planned to stay 2 nights and had booked a suite of 2 rooms, which fit our family well. When we extended our stay, arriving a day early, we were given a 3 bedroom suite (at the same price) for that additional night. That suite was incredible, though we couldn't take full advantage of it, as we moved the...

I stayed with my husband, 18 month old and 5 year. I really wanted a room to sit up after the kids were in bed but didn't expect much for the reasonable price but it was amazing. Two massive bedrooms, dining room and kitchen, beautiful rooms. It was very nosy with the windows open as right off the old square,...

We've been to the hotel in july 2016, a group of 5 18 year olds. The breakfast we had each morning was very rich and tasty. The room was cleaned daily. Hotel's location was as good as it gets, right in the old town square. Down side was there is a pub right down the street so there was some...

There was a music club just across the street, and its noise cannot stay inside. It vibrates this hotel all the night and the vibration sound keeps you awake until 6 AM. I asked the reception, and the person answered "it is from the music club, and we cannot do anything." I was so disappointed at hearing the words. Really...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
