The hotel is very good, it is clean, easy access to public transportation. The Breakfast has lot of items available. On the restaurant the waiter Florian it is very helpful and he had lot of attention with the clients.
We can not say enough about this hotel. From the moment we arrived we was treated so well. We was a little early to check in so was given our cards to get you into the executive suite on the 12th floor.,this had free food and drinks. We also used the spa for £16 each. We had the whole spa to ourselves which was fantastic. We left our luggage in a locked safe cupboard. The breakfast was 5 star in this hotel. We loved the choice. Brilliant service. We also ate in the restaurant once which was lovely. Cocktails were lovely and staff really helpful and wanted to help. We slept like babies in our room. So quite and out bed was so comfortable. The tube is behind the hotel which was only about five stops to the city and really cheap. We paid £50 for a taxi to the hotel but in the way back we took the tram number 26 to the terminal then jumped on the airport bus which cost less than £5 each and was so easy. You also get to see the city. We had an amazing time here x…
Florian is a top Man, and also his cocktail are phenomenal. Try the custom made options. You won’t be disappointed x Hotel Don Giovani is a great hotel. The staff cannot do enough to help you with your stay. Highly recommended. Executive bar is excellent. Try it or lose out!
What a fantastic time we had here. From the moment we checked in everything was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, our executive room was sizeable and very comfortable. Bed was huge (I have to mention the fact the bed was made so well that the sheets never moved or creased first time I have experienced this EVER!) so comfy with lovely bedding. Shower was powerful and hot. Executive lounge was well staffed and food constantly refilled on our two visits. Breakfast was presented beautifully with something for everyone. Shoutout to Lily who checked us in, booked us on a fab trip and checked us out. All staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again. Travel was so easy even from airport. Shame we were not here longer!
This Hotel it was the worst experience that I ever had. We arrived 23/12 at 23.30 with my husband and 3 kids (7, 13,17). I ask to the reception if we can have any snack to eat and they told me that the kitchen is close and I can try to order from WOLT🤨.... sorry?. So, we went to the room and us I was expecting the room that I was booked 4 months before with a connected door with the kids, was not!!!! They was give to us just 2 rooms close to each other. The kids room it was smell very very bad (from the toilet) and they was came to our room because i am not the person that i like to make troubles. 5 nights they was staying with us (5 people in the room) we whent 4 times to the reception and always nobody from management was there to help us. And I send email to the Reservation manager because it was the lady that I was make my reservation, (the times that I was speaking withe her for my reservation she was very polite) she said she apologize and I can go the next day at 10 o clock to speak with them. The next day my husband when and still nobody appears. I said anyway i will not destroy my holidays, and again i didn't continue. Three nights after at 2.20 midnight I heard a serines from the firetrucks that was to the front door of the hotel, 7 firetruck, 2 police car, and 1 ambulance, we was panic, my husband when to see (we was in the 6th floor) and all doors was locked and it was open only the emergency exit. He when from the emergency 6th floors, he ask to the reception what is happen with no answer. The only thing that they was saying was "everything is ok" how could be OK? We was there to the reception lobby, with my kids with pajamas, with the fear to our face and the same time to see all the time there faces maybe we understand what is happen. Anyway at 4 o clock we decided to go to sleep because it was like we didn't exist for them. Two days after the incident we learn from a man at 4th floor that was a fire, because it was smell smoke badly !!! So, I send email to that woman again that this behavior it was horrible, we was with my kids , we was panic, my little one was crying, and they wasn't even show any interest. The man on the reception was on the phone, and they was looking us and he was laughing , and he behavior it was like we was crazy!! And I still wait from her to answer... she never did. The cleaners?? Never came to clean. We was there 10 nights and they came only 2 times. We was off from toilet paper, towels.... and when I told to the cleaner that they have to come to clean she was laughing with her colleague. All the staff , including management team, they had THE WORST BEHAVIOR EVERRR.....AND RUDE!!!!!! They was all of them moody faces like they didn't want us there or like they wanted to kill there selfs !!!! No worries we will never come back!!!!!! …
We stayed there three nights. The location is good if you want to be out of the center city but be accessible to it by tram, train or bus. The breakfast and dinner buffet food was good. too. Our overall experience with them was not good, and here is why. First, on three occasions we were given door keys that didn't work, twice to our room and once to the executive lounge. Second, the mattress on our bed was so bad I could completely squeeze it closed with one hand. I estimated it probably should have been thrown away over a year ago. It was so bad we asked for another room. We packed up our stuff and store it downstairs until a room is available. Third, on one evening during the buffet dinner, a small child was out of control running throughout the restaurant screaming and blasting the siren on his fire engine toy. His parents did nothing to control the behavior. Everyone kept looking at the staff to see if they would do something about it, like ask them to leave or to go downstairs to have their dinner. They did nothing. When we paid for it we were asked how it was. We and the couple behind us complained about it. The young woman just looked at us. On none of these occasions did a staff person simply say, "We're sorry for the inconvenience" or offer us anything. It must be a training and/or a cultural issue there. On top of all that we're charged for things we didn't take or eat in our room. I suspect the change in rooms tripped them up and got them confused. I sent an e-mail and called twice requesting a refund. They keep telling me management will do something about it, but nothing. We're out about $30USD. I would not recommend it to anyone based on our experience. I think they need a course in hospitality management and common courtesy.…
Our 3rd visit this year. Absolutely fabulous. Ivan on reception made us very welcome, as always. This time we were celebrating our golden anniversary, and we were given an upgrade and small gift. The room, executive lounge, buffet breakfast were superb. All the staff were polite and courteous, and made us feel welcome. Transport into Prague centre is a 'doddle'. Tram and Metro right outside the hotel. Parking at the hotel is very convenient. The hotel will arrange airport pick up, for a small extra charge, which makes the journey less stressful. Everything brilliant and we'll be back!!
This is a truly fabulous hotel. Very grand entrance, with a pianist playing Christmas tunes. Check in was seamless (Petra was very helpful). Our room was on the 10th floor, although the view wasn’t particularly good, (overlooking the main road) but hey you can’t have everything. Tea facilities (although interestingly enough no milk pods) but there is a Lidll directly opposite so we could buy some milk (and we kept it cool by filling the sink with cold water)! The beds are very comfortable and my husband wanted extra pillows which housekeeping brought to us within 5 minutes of requesting! Impressive. Fully equipped bathroom with hand soap, hairdryer, bath with a shower. Room also has a safe. The hotel itself is right by the Metro station Zelivskeho and a bus terminal and tram stops. The restaurants were lovely serving great food. Definitely deserves a 10/10…
Christmas atmosphere in Hotel Don Giovanni. Come and have a look. Everyone is nice, it's relaxing and you look forward to the Christmas holidays and the end of the year. Have a coffee or a good drink and be well.
I really couldn't rate this hotel higher; it was faultess. Located within a 3-minute walk of the local Metro station (5 stops from the Old Town) with its frequent services, and a one minute walk from extensive tram and bus routes, this hotel is perfectly positioned for getting around Prague with ease. The hotel staff were polite, efficient and welcoming, the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the food in the various restaurants was very good indeed. Well done everyone, you did a great job. Happy to recommend you, and we’ll definitely be back, Next to major transport hub Excellent hotel restaurants Dog/child friendly Major shopping mall at next Metro Stn
