I stayed here with my family for one night in September 2014. The woman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She was so nice and incredibly helpful. The rooms were just ok for us. Nothing too fancy but clean and nice. My parents' room as a double and they were comfortable. My brother and I shared the suite. I...

We've stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, the location is ~10 min walk from Karl Bridge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is polite, helped us with bus reservations, information search etc. The restaurant provides good and diverse breakfast. We have eaten lunch and dinner on some days there as well, the dishes were prepared quickly and...

Great location - near the St. Charles Bridge and along a tram line. Close to several restaurants. Family friendly and quiet sleeping conditions - away from rowdy bar districts. Safe, on site parking is available! I stayed in a suite that slept 4 people. Room was comfortable, came with refrigerator and AC. Breakfast was great and included in the cost...

Breakfast is included and great. The TV channel selection was not so good, but who goes to Prague to watch Tv in a hotel. Their...

Everything a non-chain hotel should be: efficient, friendly, caring and different to all the rest. My wife and I stayed here over New Year, and the receptionist was very friendly, ready to help and knowledgeable in all ways in her field. Furthermore, when we both fell ill with flu, they looked after us without too much fuss. Their breakfasts are...

Fantastic location, very pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. We spent 4 days there in October while visiting Prague. Only the best memories of the place. The prices are fair (I'd even say low) for that location (5 minutes walking from the city center).

My partner and I like an early dinner to avoid the dinner crowds. This restaurant is small and intimate. Romantic Spanish guitar music was playing. The Chez special drew us in with soup, goulash and beer for 7.5 euros . My partner would have prefered gnocci (potato dumplings) with the goulash and they probably would have accomodated him. This restaurant serves...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
