Stayed here in Prague for three days. Perfect location near the Charles Bridge and all the tourist sites. Room was tiny but clean. Two twin beds if needed. Restaurant was typical Czech cuisine, lots of meat and starch. Short on fresh vegetables.

This small hotel is great, do not hesitate to book! The rooms are modern with all the amenities needed, breakfast is super, and the location is walkable to everything. For the price, you can't beat it!

We stayed here for 3 nights and thought it a lovely hotel. We organised the airport transfer by email and worked a dream, more expensive than a taxi @€30 but so easy. We stayed in room 1, a nice big bed and room and looking the river. The hotel is a 1min walk from the historic Charles Bridge and therefore... More

My main aim in Prague was photography, and for that I could not have found a better location than this. It is 2 minutes from the Charles Bridge and in the lovely Western side of the city, Mala Strana. The rooms are modern but with original elements incorporated, I always like that. It is small scale with friendly and helpful... More

I stayed four nights with my husband at the Archibald at Charles Bridge Hotel for our wedding anniversary. A very cosy and indeed unique hotel on a charming and quite square, yet at walking distance of all main attractions. I wish especially to thank Lucia at the reception. I forgot to mention in my reservation that I wished to stay... More

Stayed 4 nights here to explore Prague. The rooms are very clean & a nice size, featuring bathroom with shower only (in our room), mini bar, TV etc. We had a double room & the bed was two single beds connected together (not unusual). The only thing we found with our room was the lack of power sockets, there were... More

The Archibald was the last place we stayed on our European trip, and it was definitely a case of leaving the best till last. Clean, well appointed, and luxurious rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly and helpful staff made our experience here one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. While this is not the cheapest accommodation you'll find... More

Located in a small square, easy drive from the airport. Spent two nights in an amazing brick vaulted ceiling room that was quiet, roomy and very cozy. This hotel is affordable spotless, warm with good quality fittings and layout, breakfast was very good. There are tour boats close by out the back door and you are on the Vltava river.... More

Nice room - plenty of space and useful news channels in English on the Television. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay here again if ever visiting Prague. No complaints.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
