Warm welcome. Very clean. Very friendly. Good breakfast with "everything". Conveniently located (3 minutes walk to tram stations, 15 minutes walk to old city). Free WiFi. Mattress too thin. But as usual I won't give a 5th star to a hotel using quilts instead of blankets and bed-sheets.

The hotel is close to city centre, metro and tram stations. Good and clean rooms, clean bed linens and towels. Nice and friendly staff and very good breakfast. Overall, a great place to stay for visiting the amazing Prague.

I needed a hotel for one day in Prague and all the usual places where I stay were booked out, so I found this place at a reasonable price and booked it. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked out and I seem to have ended up in the worst room of the place. The room was tiny and unrenovated, it...

I stayed here during a week long residential with college, and after traveling for around 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel I was pleasantly surprised by it's location. To put it in perspective, it was down a street you wouldn't know existed and was still only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town! It was...

Great location close to the main attractions of Prague, but very quiet. Helpful staff. Nice and clean room and breakfast ok. I was very satisfied and even my local friend took a visit card of the hotel so that he will be able to recommend it to visitors.

A nice and oldfashioned hotel next to the New Town Hall. Not too big, but the rooms are good and the area quiet all though you have a number of bars and restaurants more or less next to the hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful and they speak a number of languages. There is a small breakfastroom and...

The hotel was ok for the price, the location was good and central. Although it said they have parking, the parking is not in the hotel and you have to drive to a tiny underground parking, I hardly could get into the parking, and to go out of this parking was a nightmare. The rooms and furniture are quite old,...

Novomestsky is a basic nice hotel, located in a nice area. 10 mins walk from Mustek metro station and the same distance from Wenclester Square. Also in a walking distance from Charles bridge, the old town, the dancing building and other nice attractions of Prague. The city hall is in the end of the street and close to that, you...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
