We have just returned from a week in Prague staying in the Praga 1 and have had a most enjoyable time. The hotel is situated in the New Town with easy access to the centre yet just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Wenceslas Square. We were situated on the first floor and although we faced the...

This hotel was one available through a package with Jet2 Holidays as the original one I had my eye on was no longer available. I am so glad it wasn't. This hotel is in a fantastic location. Far enough from the very centre so not to be expensive but close enough you can walk to everything. Wenceslas square is literally...

Lovely staff who were always helpful and welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and the entire place had a very cozy feel to it. The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere throughout the city including the old town. Was definitely reasonably priced and would recommend if visiting Prague on a family holiday.

Stayed here for 5 days, it has a good location with easy access to the trams and the city centre. Being a full time wheelchair user i was extremely pleased with the size of the the room with a single and double bed in place. There is easy enough place to use the hoist to get me in bed. Clean,...

Checked into this hotel for our Easter holiday of 2017. A week of culture breathing. The hotel is adequate, the room we had was spacious. Beds clean and comfortable. Bathroom was decent, not awe inspiring. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, just a bit limited in choice. Slight minus point: no dinner possible. But hey, Prague has...

This hotel is simple one for not very luxury stay but in any case it is good for spending of few nights. Fantastic location nearby of many cultural and historical places, as well as nearby of good restaurants. Offer for breakfast is not very wide but sufficient. My only complain is to very small shower cabin.

Staff are really friendly, and we're a wealth of knowledge for recommendations of places to eat and drink off the beaten track. We walked everywhere, as we were 10 to 15 minute walk from most sites. The rooms were comfortable with everything you need; tea/coffee facilities, fridge, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and safe. There was a good selection at breakfast, although not...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
