This Hotel is perfect. We booked it for Summer 2020 until Covid stopped us to go there. The communication on the delays was super professional, fast and understanding. One of the replies was my Top Statement during the Pandemic: "Due to the Pandemic none of our customers/guests should have any disadvantages" One of the best statement we have had when we had to postpone trips. So in 2022 for New Year we finally managed to make our trip to Praha and as great as the pre Trip communication of Pod Vezi was, was the experience on site. The Hotel is perfectly located to explore Praha, the people of Pod Vezi are amazingly friendly and helpfull, they offer FOC Tickets to the Carls Bridge Tower and the little terrace was perfect for a small pre New Years Drink. For our next trips to Praha, this will surely be our choice…
We sadly had to reschedule our stay as we were due to visit in covid times. The customer service we received in being able to rebook and them organising transfers from the airport was much appreciated. We turned up at the hotel to be greeted by Alès. He was so welcoming, taking time to explain the hotel and where everything is in Prague. His knowledge of the city was faultless, and he was very patient with my many questions. Every query we had during the stay either Alès or Honza kindly helped us and always tried to go the extra mile. They are a credit to the hotel. The room we stayed in was a suite which was absolutely massive and as it was our honeymoon the hotel kindly decorated the room to make our stay that little bit more special. The bed was comfortable, and the room was always kept very clean. Housekeeping are amazing and would leave a little gift/treat each day that were really appreciated. The breakfast is good and there is plenty to choose from whether you are looking for cooked breakfasts or continental. The waffle machine was definitely tested out by many staying there and was an indulgent breakfast treat to start the day. The hotel itself being right by the Charles Bridge provides the greatest base to start viewing all the attractions in Prague. You can walk about most of the attractions with no issues but there are trams that were also fairly easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back soon. …
The family that owns Pod Vezi are super nice. one of the sons checked us in when we arrived. was up serving us breakfast the next morning. Very helpful. We asked them what locals think are worth visiting. gracious and kind staff! It's a few steps from the tower on the castle side. You have amazing desert/candy shops a few minutes away, including my favorite chimney cake! I would tell anyone to stay here! great rooms. Love this place and if we go back, I hope to stay here again!
Hotel Pod Vezi was so well situated, right at the foot of Prague’s Charles Bridge. Plus it was a charming, quaint hotel with the feel of an intimate bed and breakfast and the amenities of a big hotel. Staff waa considerate, helpful, and friendly. On top of this all was a great and complete breakfast service.
Very charming, traditional hotel. The whole hotel was very clean and the rooms were serviced every day, including daily treats left by the maids. Location is excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Prague.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in December and it was just absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of the area, thank you! We had breakfast every morning in the restaurant, which was delicious with lots of choice of hot and cold food. The Prosecco was a nice touch as well! We also had dinner in this restaurant once and it was a real treat. The room was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Clean, tidy and nice and warm when the temperatures were in the minus outside. There were little gifts left for us each day as well which was so lovely and generous. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Prague
This was a very nice hotel, well-located, with incredible staff. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, with all of the comforts. The restaurant in the hotel served a lovely breakfast and excellent dinner. The hotel is right next to the St. Charles Bridge, so right in the middle of the nicest part of town, but not in a hectic area. Two members of the staff in the hotel--Honza and Ales--were just superb: helpful, charming, willing to do anything to make our stay special. They gave us all kinds of excellent tips about where to go, where to eat, how to get around, etc. All in all, a great place to stay.
We spent 6 great nights in this great hotel, service in this hotel is outstanding, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, we ate both in the hotel restaurant and in their cafe and it was great, a highly recommended hotel and its location is great and zentral
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Its location, at the foot of the Charles Bridge, is ideal. We could easily walk into the Old Town as well as to the Prague Castle. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and quite comfortable. But what made our visit special was the reception staff -- friendly, professional, helpful and kind. When we didn't know where to park our car, a staffer left the desk and rode in our car to show us. They happily and efficiently made restaurant reservations and organized private airport transport for us. One extra benefit of staying at Pod Vezi: a free ticket to the top of the bridge tower.
We stayed here last weekend and were thoroughly blown away. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and we were immediately made to feel at home. The room was spacious, clean and had a lot of extra and unexpected touches, which made it feel more like a 5 star hotel than a 4 star. Our bed was comfortable, the minibar was restocked every day, the shower had great hot water, and there were gowns and slippers available if you wanted them. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of water and some chocolates. The next day we were treated to a complimentary bottle of prosecco, macarons and a fridge magnet. You don't often get spoiled like this, and we thoroughly appreciated these thoughtful gestures. The breakfast is amazing, and you can even make your own waffles. There is a very wide choice, so there is definitely something for everyone. There is even prosecco which we made mimosas with! Being under the tower, you are able to avail of a free pass to climb 148 stairs to the viewing point of the tower. We were lazy and didn't make the climb, but it was nice to know that it was available to us should we wish to. The proximity of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to the old town. The hotel organized our taxi from and back to the airport at a very competitive rate of €30 each way. We would definitely recommend Pod Vezi for your stay in Prague, you will not be disappointed.…
