We spent six nights at the Atlantic hotel in Prague. Our room was spacious and clean. It lacked a bit in facilities - specifically: a mini bar and a larger wardrobe would add to the experience.
The reception staff was nice and helpful, as was...More
My stay lived up to all the excellent reviews. Clean room, interesting bar and billiards facility, and improvements underway, to an already acceptable hotel. Wholesome breakfast, and attentive staff. The location at about 100 m from metro and tram is so central for getting around....More
In general I could only be positive about this hotel:
-This hotel is very nice located near the centre. We walked easily from the hotel to the centre with the astronomic clock and to the otherside of the Charles Bridge (if you like walking).
The hotel is on a stretch of road which is quite difficult for taxis and cars to park directly outside it.
I believe the hotel does have parking but you have to pay extra for that which isn't necessary when everything is so close.

Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town
or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
