The location of this hostel is very good, 5 minutes by walk to the astronomical clock and if you want to go somewhere it is just 8 minutes walk to the bus stop or tram station. From outside it looks like a hotel rather than a hostel. The price is reasonable too. The room is clean but the bathroom is...

What a perfect hostel , at only 15 euro per person per night for me and my friend to have our own twin room how can you go wrong ? Our room was clean , bathrooms were OK , not very glamorous but who cares it's of the standard hostel standard! Perfect location only a stones throw from old town...

I stayed with a friend at the Travellers hostel. It was the worst hostel we have ever stayed in. We are young people so we actually wanted just a bed to sleep during the night. After the first night we discovered that my jeans was stolen with all my money, identity passport and in general all the papers. Out of...

The worst thing about this hotel is that there is one bathroom (3 showers but 1 was out of service + 2 toilets and 5 sinks however there were not a mirror for each sink...) for one floor !! My room has been cleaned like once during the week! And only the trash had been emptied. The beds have never...

The hostel is in a great location, walking distance to all main attractions, including the old town square where you can see the clock tower. It is also within close proximity to the main tram network which can take you across the city to top attractions inculding Prague Castle. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Good wifi and baggage...

The hostel is pretty decent. You have good wifi connection and housekeeping. Breakfast is good and open buffet all you can eat. The only thing is that on the hostelworld they say breakfast is included in the price but it is not. But it was a good time we had in the hostel. It is also really close to the...

Really bad wifi, not a single plug near the bed, not a usual hostel atmosphere. The only good thing about the hostel is a location, which is close to city center, otherwise not recommended at all, many more options to choose from

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
