We stayed here for 4 nights for my birthday. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and it looked pretty funky in the photos! In a nutshell, this hotel is okay. It's more suited to business clients rather than tourists. Pros: Good transport links into town Clean rooms. Cons: It's starting to show it's a age a bit eg....

Don't let the location put you off, run down apartment blocks face onto the ultra-modern hotel. Just around the corner is a modern shopping mall, bars, restaurants and most importantly the underground. If you are staying for any length of time, there is a ticket office next to the escalator where you can buy a 3day/weekly zone ticket, which allows...

Have just returned from a four night stay at the andels. Firstly, i think it's very important to point out that reviewing this hotel depends a lot on your age, nationality, what your used to etc. i booked this hotel largely based on the reviews on this forum, and while i agree that it is a very clean and comfortable...

We stayed in an Andel's suite for our honeymoon. After organising our own wedding we knew we would be tired. We wanted to see Prague but also chill out in our own space. The suite was lovely, beautifully and cleverly designed with stacks of space. It was spotless, the showers amazing, the kitchen great, the bed was incredibly comfortable. We...

Lovely hotel, probably worth 4.5 out of 5 rather than the full 5. Nicely designed rooms, modern, very clean and a good size for a Capital City hotel. I thik this is a hotel aimed at business travellers as well as the tourist as there were a few functions happening at the same time we were there. Breakfast is above...

I had read a few reviews before I stayed at Andels Hotel, and most of them were spot on. In a few points, here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Extremely comfortable beds/bedding. Really. I practically drift off just thinking about how comfy they were. - Minibar/fridge where you can store your own (much cheaper than stocked by the...

If you like glass everywhere you will love this hotel! The restauarant where a really good breakfast was served was like sitting in a goldfish bowl! - we watched other groups in the function rooms while they watched us! Food in Oscar's in the evening was very good although the menu was limited and rather pricy. Room was fine with...

Our 2nd stay at the Andels & we remain utterly convinced that there is NO better place to stay in Prague. The location, just far enough away from the Old Town chaos, means that the nearby restaurants, bars & shopping offer much more than the tourist infested places just across the river. Everything the previous posts have said are true...

Stayed at this hotel from Dec.'04 to Jan '05. Found it to be a great base to stay. Close to the metro and has a huge shopping complex just opposite. Prague is one of the most beautifully preserved cities in Europe and relatively cheap. Only disadvantage is I found some of the officials at the train stations and other public...
