This hotel will be the one that I shall return to again and again. And Mala Sana is the best part of Prague. Without question. First of all, the front desk is friendly, professional and delightful. The room I had, the Handel, which they call a junior suite but booking.com called a deluxe king, was large and comfy. The bed...

I returned yesterday from a 4-nt stay at this property and was thoroughly pleased. I considered numerous properties and chose Aria based on recommendations and was so glad that I made this decision. The hotel is relatively small but the service was exceptional. The hotel is very classy and sophisticated while also being cozy and unpretentious and the staff is...

A beautiful boutique hotel centrally placed but also a peaceful oasis . The hotel has a musical theme with each room based on a famous musician or composer. Our Gershwin suite was modern and stylish on the 5th floor. Crisp cotton sheets, molton brown toiletries. No noise other than bells of Prague at night . Skylights illuminating local church towers...

If you're going to Prague, stop looking at hotels, and stay at Aria. Superb in all respects - friendly/helpful staff, excellent location, beautiful facility with comfortable and inviting common areas, well appointed/good sized room with amenities that include Apple TV, excellent restaurant. We could not have asked for a better overall experience!

We have stayed in various hotels while traveling around the world and this is by far one of the best hotels we have been at. The premises are excellent. Being a themed hotel based on music each room is dedicated to a composer or singer. We got the crooners room and when we got in we were welcomed by music...

This small five star hotel is a pleasant surprise to us! It is very close to Charles bridge and in walking distance to all major attractions including Prague Castle, the old town and the Jewish quarter. The staff at the hotel are all friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel has access to a lovely...

This is a wonderful hotel with the most amazing team of staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Complimentary wine and fruit on arrival and on the second night a beautiful hand made cake as it was our anniversary. We stayed in room 313, with views of the fantastic garden. Spotlessly clean, cannot fault anything. It exceeded our expectations....

I want to go back! This hotel is simply stunning. Very clever and well-done musical theme on each floor (We were on the 2nd floor -- modern). Rooms are very spacious, sparkling clean, include Apple TV, iPad, minibar, and we even received a complimentary bottle of wine the first night and a surprise cheese selection on night 2. After a...

Had a great visit to Prague beginning with the fabulous historic gardens out in back of this stately hotel. Room was fabulously appointed with a full tub and access to dvds and a fine music collection. The staff were gracious and attentive without being a bother. Breakfast was a treat and cam included with my room. The lounge is comfortable...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
