We spent four short nights there. What a wonderful place. Musical scores tiled into the lobby floors, an amazing library of discs to browse and borrow, images of composers from paintings to porcelain plates to photographs throughout the property. Outside the hotel are myriad eateries, shops, gardens, historic and picturesque sites within a few seconds' walk. Do not miss the... More

We stayed at the Aria hotel for 3 nights in January. The staff were welcoming and we appreciated the offered tour of the hotel and a welcome drink. The room was extremely well equipped - great to have the use of a computer as well as free wifi for our own personal gadgets ! The bed was comfortable ( and... More

We spent two nights in Prague, in this lovely hotel. It's a central hotel near the Charles' Bridge, so it was easy to reach every public transportation. We had a great time in this hotel, in spacious, very celan room, with beautiful wiew over the city. The reception staff was very helpful, kind, and they spoke English very well. I... More

It was the second time we have visited Prague, but the first at the hotel. We are lucky enough to stay at many different hotels all over the world and this one falls completely in the "very average" band. We arrived and they basically force you to have a guided tour which we didn't want in took us a good... More

Loved the location, the staff were amazing, every single one of them! The room was fantastic, both space and cleanliness, the hotel restaurant served really delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), can't seem to find a single fault in this luxury hotel! I'd recommend this amazing hotel to anyone who wants to have the best holiday in Prague because it... More

The perfect location, friendly service and lovely room made this a memorable New Year in a beautiful city. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the ambience of the hotel was one that made us want to return again and again.

Stayed there with my family between Xmas and NY. Service was very good, friendly and warm. Location is fantastic, very central and a couple of minutes walk from Charles' Bridge. Very good food . Our room had a couple of TVs, Hi-Fi and I-pod with preloaded songs, so in addition to the CD, DVD and book library it offers a... More

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Praha, then this is it! Located very close to Charles bridge and within walking distance from the castle and the old town. A hotel with a very "arty" character, super friendly staff and a great restaurant. Although it is a typical old building being renovated into a hotel,(having mazy... More

Top notch service. Very attentive to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Our 3 daughters loved the free afternoon tea and sweets. Great location. Very quiet facility. Little touches like computer in room, wifi throughout the building, lovely breakfast buffet, cinema room with dvd and book library, accomodating concierge, fresh fruit in our room and more!

We spent 4 nights in a snowy Prague at the Aria. Our room had a lovely view over the rooftops of Mala Strana. The hotel is in a quiet street a block away from St Nicholas church and an easy walk to Malostranka Square, the tram stops there and Charles Bridge. Prague Castle is a short walk away. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
