We were looking for affordable accommodation in Prague and travelling with a car and wishing to stay close to the center inevitably involves paying at least 20 euro a day in parking fees.
A COVID promotion of this EA hotel we found out at check in that parking fees were waived. We also got upgraded to a room with a balcony and included in the already low price was a very good breakfast buffet. A gym, seperate costs, is available on the premises.
All in all, highly recommended.

It is my second stay in this superbly located hotel, right at Vaclavski Namesti, between the old and new town and all easily reachable by foot. Once outside the hotel you are in the middle of the action ! The hotel for me is just great: great spacious rooms, some with nice balcony and most of the rooms are big with own kitchenette and seating corner. Bathroom has marble tiles and the room itself a real solid wooden floor. All furniture is decent and from solid wood. You can enter the hotel by card without having to pass by reception which also gives some liberty or call it discretion when having a guest over. Price/quality amazing !! Christmas high season period for around 50 Euro a night, breakfast buffet included !! Incredible value for money. Yes it has some flaws, my room as well had a power cut-off in the middle of the night once in a weeks time so I could live with that... Yes the bathroom and kitchenette has some stains in the marble or the wood but one cannot expect hotels to fully replace these materials once guests cause stains ?? One thing though which needs improvement is the breakfast room staff were unfriendly and did not speak to you and their English was not sufficient. Also they did nothing when guests did not wear their mouth cap whilst walking around in the breakfast area ! I will come back again and for those with a zero star review, this is not a fake review !! Oh and do not forget it has the possibility to enjoy a swimming pool !! Or you could go to the Hilton instead and pay 4 times the money per night and be fare off centrally located....

I had a large and very comfortable executive room with a balcony and great views. Wi Fi was first class and room had additional seating space and a large fridge was also very welcome. The rates on offer were excellent and the old town and Charles Bridge were just minutes away on foot. The main railway station could be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Lots of shops bars and restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. A really really good choice for accomodation in Prague.

Room was poor, corridors like in hospital. Swimming pool and gym are additionaly charged and you have no option to pay and include this cost into room price. Not much business oriented, how am I supposed to take company invoice for swimmimg pool? Breakfast no option for vegans. Not even soya milk or yougurt so I could have oats, or butter substitution to have a slice of bread. Some fruits and vegetables but no option for vegan proteins. I reported in the morning that curtain in the room has fallen down, assistant informed me that it will be fixed. I came back in the evening it was not fixed...realy poor experience. The only good thing is the location, but parking is 1km away.

The room and the walls were dirty. I had a reservation on the top floor. On the windows, balcony, curtain had so many dust. I fount a t shirt in the closet. The armchair leg broken out. It was an apartman, but the equipments were terrible and the coffee mashine…. the water went everywhere to the desk. The staffs were kind and it is your best choose if you would like to hear the “sorry for that” words twice a day. The cleaners doesn’t know the vacuum cleaner. The location is perfect. The breakfast …nothing special. I had a big dissapointment on my birthday. This was top price here but you can find similar standard room in the Hilton were you can use the swimmingpool almost all day long.

Booked online one day prior to arrival. Received an automatic confirmation per email. Arrive on June 21st and see a sign - hotel closed and info: go to EA Hotel Apartments Wenceslas Square (some 70 meters away on the same street). There a friendly and competent manager quickly checked-in us in a nice and spacious room on a 6th floor for the same rate which included a free breakfast. Current hotel is priced like 60% higher than Julis. Free Parking in the same building (seems to be free until end of August). I'll definitely try to book Julis again in the future due to the chess cafe (unfortunately it is also closed as of now).

It’s a good, easy hotel directly in the heart of Prague. The pool isn’t included the price - attention, we thought he is, but it’s not that expensive, only 200CZK per day per room. The breakfast was good. It’s not that loud in the night

The room was noisy both from the street and from the floor, insufficient noise isolation. Im the the room there were broken eqipment. The balcony of the room is not accessable, the window dirty. The hotel charge extra price for view on the square, though road reconstruction is in front. Air condition extreme loud. The breakfast option was poor and the seating dense.
Altogather not a 4 star quality, bottom of the 3 or rather 2.
Instead of staying two nights we left after one.

Great hotel! Couldn't be more in the centre of everything. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was yummy, lots of variety. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only one thing...it's advertised with a pool which was the clincher for me, for the kids. But it's part of a gym next door and is only available 8pm until 11pm and costs 8 euros per person. We didn't use it.

This IS NOT a 4 star hotel . More like a butlins room . Awful . We only stayed as a last min booking and normal hotel was full . Never stayed in such an awful hotel . The room was really out of date , furniture was old , curtains hanging off the pole . Very very basic . Staff were rude , very unprofessional.
Only good points (if can call good ) was , WiFi was strong , water was hot and we had balcony’s . Breakfast was basic , I went to have a pice of cake with my coffe and it had green mould on it . What I am saying is 100% true . So glad to be away from it and home

None of the rooms in Hotel Julis have a view of the river, or Charles Bridge, as the hotel is somewhat far away. Do a Google map search and locate a hotel near the bridge !
