Another wonderful time at the Hotel. Staff were both attentive and informative. This is my 9th stay at the Hotel which is so close to all the city attractions especially The Estate Theatre - would recommend the current production of The Magic Flute. City to some extent was very quite this February 2013 but at least it was nor crowded....

We stayed at this hotel over christmas in 2012. The hotel has a great location right next to the Charles bridge. Our room, which was decorated beautifully, was quite large and included a big ensuite (only downside was that the shower head could not be attached to the shower wall which made it difficult to shower at times). Free wifi...

Nice and relaxing atmosphere apart from a couple getting too friendly I'm the corner which got uncomfortable. unfortunatly smoking is aloud. Food was of a good standard and large portions, the meat in the goulash was slightly underdone . Waiter was friendly and quick. They charge for the bread basket and there is a 15% service charge but reasonably priced meal.

Restaurant was appalling. the waiters were rude, and it was overpriced for undercooked food, ridiculous service charge and charged for things we didn't ask for. Total tourist trap due to location. Avoid it!

I have just returned from staying at this hotel and it was amazing. Located on the foot of Charles Bridge it is in a perfect location. Rooms are nice and comfortable and we foudn the restraunt very reasonably priced especially for cocktails that were very tasty! Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone taking a city break.

Beautifully situated, at the foot of the Karlov Bridge. We had a comfortable room in (very!) classic style with all the modern amenities you might wish (flat screen, mini-bar, wifi) and a spacious bathroom on the fourth floor. The view was moderate, looking over the roofs in eastern direction. Breakfast (included) was marvellous: besides the usual international stuff they served...

Excellent location, virtually on Charles bridge & a short walk from the old town square. Rooms are large, beautifully decorated, the beds are big and comfortable. Would recommend this place for anyone taking a short city break.

The thing about having a great location in the old city is you need to expect a bit of street noise if your window faces the (mostly) foot-traffic street below. The advantage is that when I leaned out my second floor window I could photograph the Charles Bridge, and it was fun to be able to hear the street vibe....

We ate in this restaurant some days ago, I've never seen such an empty plate anywhere else! Juste nothing to eat ! When we asked for the bill there were "mistakes" in it, Then the waiter didn't gave us the money back. I called him and asked. Without surprise he didn't gave us the right ammount back. Then I told...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
