The room is big and comfortable, location is great, concierge very helpful and breakfast buffet is awesome. Everyone speaks English. Good room-darkening drapes. Quiet. Lighting is very bright. If you have to use the bathroom during the night, take your sunglasses with you so you're not blinded.

Prague is a beautiful, enchanted city that offers old world charm as well as modern facilities. The President was being remodeled during our visit but the location is Ideal, the rooms are spacious and the people are very helpful. The hotel is on the river with a view of the castle and the metronome.

If place would be 3stars I would give 5star rating for whole . The fact is this hotel is over rating itself. Whole day construction noises from inside the building? Room was great and really clean and nothing really to complain but again, not 5star overall. Huge plus for huge clothing cabinets. Definitely I would stay again with good price...

The location was good and hotel staff friendly. We purposely chose the hotel because air conditioning was listed as an amenity and were looking forward to a comfortable room during our stay. Unfortunately when we checked in our room was 26C (78F) and the air con did not work. We were told it was not cooling season and we would...

Just returned from a 4-day visit to Prague, and the President Hotel was our very comfortable base. The location is perfect with the Jewish Quarter and its attractions in the streets behind the hotel and the Old Town Square etc within easy walking distance. Indeed we found the location so convenient that we visited all attractions on foot, not finding...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
