We arranged Prague Airport Transfers to pick us up from airport to hotel and back, cheaper than the hotel taxi service and very efficient. We were allowed to check in early as the hotel wasn't full which was much appreciated. Room clean, 4th floor and very little street noise till Friday evening. Wouldn't want to be in Prague at the...

Excellent value for money, superb location with friendly and efficient staff. Standard twin room was comfortable with ample space for what was needed. Also there was a variety of choices on offer for breakfast. Would stay again if visting Prague.

Stayed here Feb 2015 for a long weekend. Booked through Lastminute.com (avoid Wizzair if you can - a bunch of hopelessly disorganised charlatans in my opinion). Before arriving I contacted the hotel directly and arranged a cab from the airport as we landed at midnight and didn't want to risk the local taxi or bus. Our first impression before even...

This hotel is fairly basic but provides everything that the visitor requires for a short visit. It is situated very close to the Old Town Square and yet is very quiet at night. I had a very nice room and bathroom which was spotlessly clean with a big, very comfortable bed. There was a good selection of food for breakfast...

Positive - The hotel is in a very good location when accessing the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square on foot. Middle Ground -The rooms were much smaller than anticipated according to the pictures on the hotel website. Negative - The front desk staff was quite rude and when asked for suggestions and help in restaurant reservations and concert bookings,...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights just before Christmas. We booked via BA and were interested in the Christmas Markets. The hotel is ideally located near the old town where it is about five minutes from the Old Town Square and about ten minutes from Charles Bridge. Our room was spacious and clean and suited us well...

We stayed at the Astoria Hotel mid December and thought it was lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we organised to have free tea/coffee facilities in our room (110). The room is on the 1st floor and was perfect. Upon arrival in the room we were very surprised at the size, two single beds and a large space...

Although this hotel is a 4 star we were not that convinced. Although the staff were friendly and efficient (we got our room on arrival at 10.30am) customer service required a tweak. Whilst using the hotels hairdyer it short circuited and blew some of the hot element onto my wife. We immediately reported this to reception staff who checked the...

I went to Prague in April 2013 with my cousin. We chose this hotel due to price/location. The room was clean and location amazing. Very close to all attractions. However, rooms were very very small. The two single beds took over most of the space! Breakfast not very exciting either. Not a lot of choices. Staff in general were polite....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
