We stayed at this hotel and it was nice. We had some bad luck because we had no direct public transport from the city center to this hotel because on that week the city decided to fix the tram. From the city center we had...More

Simply the best hotel I've ever been to. The long and uphill journey at the beginning, but we were soon greeted by Mikaila (sorry if it's misspelled) who, upon our too early arrival, granted us an early access to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable...More

My husband and I like to visit Prague. As always, we stayed in the beautiful stylish Boutique Hotel Domus Henrici. The eight rooms are beautifully decorated with a lot of charm and care for details. Two of them have an incredible view over the valley,...More

Thank you very much. We are happy to hear you did have a nice stay :-)
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the
historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

Hi Lorraine, it is 30 mins walking distance but since the hotel is very close to Prague Castle, you need to go downhill there / uphill at return. If you really want to be close to markets, try looking around Staromestske namesti which is the most famous place with Christmas markets. However the areas might be packed and a bit loud, I would still go for this fantastic Domus Henrici location if you do not mind walking in beautiful areas.
