What a fantastic hotel for a stay in the Hradcany area of Prague. Everything was great; the rooms, the breakfast, the reception and most of all the fabulous location at the top of Hradcany hill. Our only complaint would be that there was no restaurant nor bar in the hotel during outr stay. I understand that these are being refurbished...

We loved the location of this hotel and it's walking distance to Prague Castle and Charles bridge. The staffs are quite helpful here specially a lady who was a trainee then helped a lot about places to see in Prague and she also showed us the entire hotel areas with coffee on arrival and a special dish made by the...

The location is a bit out of the way but very worth it and the staff were very useful. It was totally worth the price. Although if there is one criticism, ask for a room with a window. Our room had a very small window and therefore very little natural light

I stayed here at the beginning and end of a recent trip to Europe (two nights each time), and it was far and away one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The location is perfect, just off the intensely tourist path of the Old Town and Charles Bridge and right next to Strahov Monetary. It's a short walk...

Perfect place for us. Beforehand via very prompt e-mail responses, all queries were answered and also a hotel car booked to pick is up from the airport. We were welcomed with a drink and a chat about where to go and what to do. The room was clean, comfortable and interesting, so much nicer than a box of a room....

The Questenberk Hotel was a perfect stay for our visit to Prague. The staff took extra special care to ensure we had the best customer service experience we have ever had at a hotel. The manager mentioned that they were aiming to be known as a great hotel for customer service and they are definitely living up to that aim!...

Wow what a treat, we spent four nights in this amazing hotel. After we made the booking (through Trip Advisor of course) we received an email asking what they could do to make our stay more comfortable and if we needed any help with plans for our stay. They arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport which...

I had never had a better experience with a hotel. They sent numerous emails in advance helping us plan especially for New Years Eve reservations. The two restaurants they recommended were wonderful - terrific ambience and charm and tasty food. The hotel itself is a former monastery from 1620 that retains its charm. It sits up on the hill with...

Our stay at the Questenberk over New Year was excellent. The staff took a lot of trouble to be helpful and there are some nice touches - the turn down service, fresh bottles of water and fruit in the room each day, cake and biscuits with coffee and other hot drinks available daily in the lounge etc. We found the...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Location of Questenberk hotel is special for its breathtaking view on the entire city of Prague. Within moments you are able to reach Prague Castle (approximately 5 minutes) and other most visited Prague's sites such as Charles Bridge, Lesser Town and Old Town square. Its unique placement gives you infinite options how to plan your journey in Prague. Only steps from our hotel you can enjoy the calm of Petrin park which is the biggest park in Prague and it is a pleasant place where to spend end of your day with an evening walk from the town. The building was built in 17th century and it served as a formal private palace to Sir Caspar Von Questenberg who was a German priest, Abbot of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Sometimes the building is misinterpreted as a church, because the architecture is very similar to the one found in Strahov Monastery which is located only 2 minutes of walking through our terrace restaurant. Our hotel is suitable for clients of all ages, families with children, couples, wedding occassions or business trips. Staying in hotel Questenberk will give you unforgetable memories and will definitely make your stay in Prague even more enjoyable. ... more   less
