Lovely clean hotel away from the crowds. The whole place is spotless! Really comfy beds, great pillows (I want one) Quiet location, and quiet rooms too. Had great nights sleep. Helpful, friendly and some rather attractive staff... Breakfast is good, choice of buffet with meats, cheese, breads, cakes, cereal, yoghurt etc. Also a la carte menu with everything from a...

We had a great stay at the Questenberk. On arrival we were greated with a drink and given useful tourist information. Breakfast in the morning had the most beautiful view of Prague and was a good price for all on offer. Rooms were comfortable and had everything you would need - the turn down service at night was appreciated. At...

I stayed at the Questenberk while traveling in the area on business. Friendly staff, very helpful with local information. Great location, walking distance to the Prague Castle, shopping, great restaurants. It is at the top of the hill, but this provided me with exercise!

Awesome hotel. The service was friendly and very helpful, the room was great and the location was perfect. Round the corner from the castle and just a short walk down to the Charles Bridge and the Old Town. No hotel parking but the on street parking is convenient and affordable. Totally recommended!

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of October. Opted to use Prague's public transport to get from Airport to Hotel (Bus, Metro and Tram) - all very easy and efficient. Hotel reception was quick and efficient with a welcome cold towel to refresh us and a welcome glass of bubbly. Was shown maps of the city and some attractions...

Just come back from a mid week break with friends. This hotel is a true gem. Quality accommodation, fantastic food, great service and the most amazing views. I can't believe there are many better hotels in Prague. Will definitely return in the spring.

We stayed here for 5 days in October. We could not have been happier with the hotel! Arrival is comfortable and gracious, with a clear explanation of the hotel's location and facilities, and the opportunity to ask any questions in a quiet and focused setting. The room was spacious, historical, and very clean. We had exposed wooden beams from the...

Enjoyed my night at this hotel. The staff was friendly and made sure that I was aware of all the attractions in the area. The hotel is in a good location to start a day of sight seeing. Be sure not the team that delivers you a block away from the hotel, because coming back from a day of walking,...

My husband and I stayed at the Questenberk to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary, and were blown away by how much we enjoyed the experience. The location is perfect - it is quiet (when most of the city is crowded with people all the time), yet in a stunning location. The rooms are extremely cosy and well-designed, and you are...

We arrived at the hotel which is based in a little plaza/square with cobbled streets and with grand views over Prague. The hotel is in a lovely building with high curved ceilings and you are welcomed by the reception with a nice sparkling wine or orange juice (or mix) and shown around the hotel and provided information. It’s a great...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Location of Questenberk hotel is special for its breathtaking view on the entire city of Prague. Within moments you are able to reach Prague Castle (approximately 5 minutes) and other most visited Prague's sites such as Charles Bridge, Lesser Town and Old Town square. Its unique placement gives you infinite options how to plan your journey in Prague. Only steps from our hotel you can enjoy the calm of Petrin park which is the biggest park in Prague and it is a pleasant place where to spend end of your day with an evening walk from the town. The building was built in 17th century and it served as a formal private palace to Sir Caspar Von Questenberg who was a German priest, Abbot of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Sometimes the building is misinterpreted as a church, because the architecture is very similar to the one found in Strahov Monastery which is located only 2 minutes of walking through our terrace restaurant. Our hotel is suitable for clients of all ages, families with children, couples, wedding occassions or business trips. Staying in hotel Questenberk will give you unforgetable memories and will definitely make your stay in Prague even more enjoyable. ... more   less
