Amazing place. The staff is kind (Camilo is one of the best person we have ever met), the drinks (especially the beer) are cheap, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Perfect for young people. Loved it.

I was here in November 2016 with 4 friends of mine and we rented a bedroom only for us. We loved the place! It was very easy to get to Clown & Bard from the airport and we found the place fantastic and also a great deal! Beds were comfortable, there was a good atmosphere throughout the place and the...

For more or less 23€ my boyfriend and me could stay one night in this hostel. Nice staffs, friendly atmosphere and really good breakfast (cereals, eggs, coffee, tea, toasts.. small buffet but very complete) just for 3€/pax. The most important part is that it's in one of the coolest quarters of prague! The only flaw I saw was that the...

The Clown and Bard is a favorite of mine in Prague and a must stop for any first time or repeat visitor to the city. The hostel is safe, clean and very cool. The bar attracts both local people and tourists with occasional live shows and other activities. In a prime location with easy access to city center, the neighborhood...

I checked in this hostel ,( I don't really know if it's fair to use the word hostel) ,for a few nights for 200 koruna per night ,( most of the hostels charge the same in Prague), to be honest this one doesn't worth it. Beds are terribly horrible metal pieces from the 70's that can break your bones and...

Would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms good vibes. A backpacker hostel can be as luxurious as a hotel but it will never have that friendly feeling with out the right people. From the moment of walking in to the place you are made feel welcome. The staff a great for advice. On. Places to visit things to do. And...

It was a great experience. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff is also very cordial and helpful. Particularly Kamilo, from the bar, who was very kind and gave me useful tips about the city, transportation, food and bars around the zone. Definitely, a place to keep in mind for another Prague's visit.

Stayed here over a year ago now and it was so good that I've always meant to write a review though am only getting around to it now ,that fact in itself speaks volumes about the place. The place is great fun, the bar seems to be 24:7 and very cheap , a lovely outside/smoking area, really got all the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hostel has been on the map since 1995 and still just as young in spirit and focused on our guests’ satisfaction as the day we started. With an international staff motivated by building new friendships and promoting a lively atmosphere, it is easy to consider this place a home away from home.We are located in Žižkov, which is just three tram stops from Václavské Námestí (the heart of Prague’s center). Žižkov is known for being the most socially diverse area of the city, making a short visit quite comfortable and in some cases worth extending. For those travelers on a budget yet still wanting to experience the culture of the local people, this spot is a gem. Žižkov has the highest number of bars in the city and there are a variety of beer gardens, cafes and restaurants with both local and other ethnic cuisines to enjoy. ... more   less
