I found this hotel/pension, via booking, when I was looking a cheap double room, during St Claus Day, one of the worst dates to travel to Prague, just before Christmas. This hotel offer a very good price, for a double + breakfast, not far away from city center. You can reach, in 15 minutes from Charles Bridge via tram (18... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Initially hard to find but tram 18 or 24 easy to use to get into town and back. Nice room in back, and breakfast reasonable (typical of it's type). Staff helped us with all we needed to know. Great caveman themed underground restaurant over the, road, and nice park around corner. This place... More

Very reasonably priced budget type hotel. Room very clean and tidy with sufficient shelves and cupboards for storage. Just as well we took our travel kettle as there wasn’t any tea making facilities in the room. Think it’s just a Brit thing that we expect this in every hotel! Nice breakfast in a cosey room in the basement. Manager is... More

The Sunflower Pension is a nice budget hotel for a city break or a long weekend in Prague. The rooms are clean and quite big, the breakfast was ok and the location is not too bad - a few tram stops from the Old Town Center, However, since it's almost a hostel, it can be quite noisy and the walls... We needed a place to stay for one night since we were flying out the next day. The Pension Sunflower was the only place in our budget that wasn't already booked or a 12 bed per room hostel. The hotel was decent, but painfully far from everything. So far, you have to plan your day around going back to the... More

I was allocated a third floor room. It contained a huge boiler that leaked, and a tv that didn't work. No bedside table or lighting. It was the least that could have been put into a room. The basket chair had a cushion but no cover. On the second morning there was no hot water. In the breakfast room the scruffy... More

The Hotel Sunflower was clean and comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. It is not in the city center--but it is only about a 15 minute tram ride to the city center. I found it nice to be able to escape the large groups of people in the city center and escape to the quiet of this hotel. The... More

We arrived in prague and had transfers to the hotel, it wasn't a scenic route but wasn't too long. We arrived late in the afternoon and once unpacked we looked for food, unfortunately there is not much around nearby but did stumble on a Morrocan restaurant, that turned out to be ok. We were a bit worried about transport next... More
