We stayed here during our visit in December. The hotel itself is lovely, with Art work hanging on the walls in the hallways and in the rooms. The room was much bigger than your standard hotel room. Breakfast was included with our stay, but there wasn't much of a difference each morning so we did end up eating out after our second day - although there is nothing wrong with the food! Fresh fruit and bread readily available which was lovely. The staff were amazing, especially after allowing us to use their printer for some excursion tickets we had booked and did not realise you had to print out for them to be accepted. They were very accommodating. Lovely stay and we would definitely stay here again.

First visit to Prague, and the Art Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, and location for visiting the city is perfect. Out of the main centre (about 20min walk), close to bus and tram routes. Local area is worth investigating, great bars and restaurants at local prices, not tourists prices of the Old Town.
Will be booking this hotel again!

Not sure if this would qualify as a 4 star hotel as there are limited services. But we had a good time. Room is very spacious and allowed me to work a bit. There is an elevator however this can only be reached by stairs.... Breakfast is a bit basic and the coffee machine can be busy but it was ok. Location of the hotel is just outside the center between 2 parks (Great if you travel with a dog). Walk to the city center is like 15 minutes. Trams from the city or to Prague Castle etc will stop at Sparta Stadion and you walk in 2 minutes to the hotel. Parking is paid and at the secured parking of Sparta (Bit pricy but so is all parking in Prague). Area felt quiet but I can imagine during football games it can be a bit crowded.

An unhappy return after 10 years. Everything was just as I had left it, like going back in time except with more damage and wear and tear, while the price has doubled.

Breakfast was pretty bad, I did not find anything that looked appealing and instead I went around the corner to a supermarket.

The furniture has seen better days, it's time for a change unless they want to turn it into a 1990 museum. Management seems to have gone away and the place appears to be run by raccoons - had an issue with the bill and weeks later it still has not been resolved (made a reservation change, they confirmed it but still billed me for the original dates).

The place needs new management and a total renovation - the pictures on the website do not look anything like this hotel.

On the plus side the location is decent, especially if they don't have a major event in the sporting/concert hall that the hotel is located in. It's OK as an alternative to a hostel or if there is an incredibly good price, but otherwise there are better alternatives in Prague.

Seamless and swift check-in, it was nice to see that all preferences were met and room was ready. Prompt and up bit service on check out. Lots of art pieces in the room/ lobby/restaurant. Implacable cleanliness of the bedding. Quiet specious room, with minibar, safety box, hairdryer, AC, TV, kettle, coffee & tea amenities, slippers upon request.

Disliked · Limited services available at hotel as for 4 star property. Restaurant open only for breakfast from 08:00 till 10:00. Limited options. No in room service. Elevator grounds between the floors, that a bit awkward, if you travel with luggage you still drag it half floor up or half floor down by stairs. Overused shower with molds.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Unique art throughout the rooms and common areas. Large, clean rooms with nice soft beds. Good breakfast.

Would definitely stay here again.

Come to Prague where the people are friendly and there are over 1000 years of history to explore!

This is a lovely hotel just outside the Centre of Prague, do not be put off by the 'Praha 7' location as it is only a 15 minute walk through the park to the Old Town- and you are rewarded by lovely views on the walk down there. This Hotel was definitely 4 star quality, our room was really big, lovely comfy bed and spacious bathroom. The fluffy bathrobes, trendy chairs and interesting artwork give you that little bit of luxury. The breakfasts were great, loads of choice from hot sausages to cold cheese, fruit, bread and cereals. They also ran on later than usual, til 10am and later on the weekends - which is great for a little lie-in! The staff are great- there when you need them but not snooty or too overbearing which you can get in some 4-5 star hotels in the UK. I really cannot find fault with it and would not hesitate to visit again.

The Art hotel is a modern trendy hotel with all the home comforts you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Excellent Breakfast Buffet.

Although it is a little from the centre of Prauge its less than a 10 minute walk across the park, or you can always take the tram and metro into the centre which takes less than 5 mins and costs about 50p!.

Taxi's are expensive!

Staff are very plesant and helpful and speak good english.

I will be returning to the Art Hotel on my next visit!

Spouse and I recently returned from Prague (Praha), where we stayed at the Art Hotel. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel and staff. Everything appeared new and spotless. Our room overlooked a park area so there was NO traffic noise; in fact, it was extraordinarily silent in the room. This is in stark contrast to the obnoxious motorcycles and screaming mopeds in Paris and Rome, rocketing down the streets all night long! The breakfast buffet (with champagne) was splendid!. Each staff member was patient with us and our many questions; each spoke solid English. Walking to the city center took about 15 minutes, which is not a big deal for us; we spent many hours each day on foot exploring the marvels of the city. What might be a big deal for some, however, is the 238 steps (yeah, we counted them) you have to traverse to walk directly to the downtown area.

Suggest you take taxi from airport (15-20 min ride), rather than a van with other folks headed for different hotel (80 min ride!). However, verify cost of taxi in the taxi booths located inside the terminal near the exit...then confirm cost with taxi driver before departing.

We'll certainly return to Prague and to the Art Hotel. Can't lose!

Although the hotel is not in the centre of Prague, the tram stop was only a 5 minute walk away and is so cheap. The hotel is wonderful.
Everything is so new and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are wonderful and very modern. I liked it so much I am going back in 2004.

Hi Kim, When I visited Prague I stayed at the Art hotel and booked this service in advance: 'Praguetransport . com' The website is very basic, so don't let it scare you! It's great service, they picked us up after midnight, the friendly driver told us all about Prague and it's a fixed price that you pay in cash so you don't need to worry about overpaying. Check them out on Tripadvisor, they have great reviews! Hope this helps and enjoy your trip! Dixie
