The staff were very nice and the breakfast very good, except the coffee. The disappointment were the rooms. We were travelling as two couples and were given the choice of two quite large rooms but both located directly to the street. The rooms were so hot the window had to be opened which of course meant noise. The air conditioning...

My partner and I were greatly looking forward to our trip to Prague, the first one for me. We had clearly booked a superior double room with a King Bed. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told (not shown) to navigate our way up to a tiny attic room with a double bed. We returned to reception and...

We have stayed in Neruda Hotel in September. The location of the hotel is great, under prague (castle (although the hotel is on top of a hill, and you need to climb up the street for few minutes. Great location! Very close to Prague castle. Yet you have to walk up a hill to get to the hotel, but then you get some 'free' exercise. The rooms/cleaning: The air-con in our room didn't work, which was a pity, since it was 30 degrees celsius outside. We ran out of toilet paper and toiletries (shampoo, shower gel) two times....

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
