We booked the Golden Wheel based on previous reviews and the Hotel lived up to expectations. We stayed in the suite at the top of the hotel ( room 515 ) and loved the lay out and facilities. The design is very good and the split level suite is perfect for a couple or family. The staff are extremely helpful...

The Golden Wheel is a lovely hotel in an excellent location, close to Prague Palace. Our quiet room had a wonderful view of the Palace, as well as its own terrace (ask for room 410). The decor in both the bedroom and bathroom was stylish and modern - not fussy. Wooden floors give it a contemporary feel. The room was...

Very Nice hotel, we stayed 3 nights for weekend romantic break. Definitely recommend the location. Room was big and very comfortable, and very clean. We were located to the front of the hotel and were worried about noise but this wasn't a problem at all. The hotel doesn't have air con so this could be uncomfortable in hotter months. Staff...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
