Sorry for the late review but was just talking about Prague and how great the hostel was and I realised I'd never reviewed it (was ! Turning up and finding the place was easy... very different to Budapest and previous places but certainly worth a visit. The highlight for me was the cave bar downstairs and friendly staff. We got...

Really open atmosphere. Plenty of space to hang out and get to know other people. Events all week long. Clean hostel, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Prague!

I was traveling alone after a conference, and I booked with Hostel One Home because the reviews boasted a really friendly and welcoming environment. Those reviews are spot on! The hostel is run by fellow travelers who are staying in Prague more long term. They cook up a family dinner every night, followed by drinking games, and a night out....

Added another night to our stay to enjoy the hostel, staff and other guests a little more. Nicest hostel layout I've seen with big common areas and excellent beds. Free dinners, great social activities both day and night - can't be beat!

I don't think this hostel needs more good reviews, as everyone know its absolutely bananas, but it has a place in my heart, so I'm writing it anyway. See you on Easter H1H! Man, I am getting emotional...

This hostel was my favorite hostel I've ever stayed in. It was centrally located and very easy to walk to the city center/bars/restaurants, etc. I rode the train a couple times, but it is definitely not a must. You can walk everywhere you need to go! The hostel has the absolute best vibes. The way the hostel is set up...

It's a wonderful place if you are going to visit Prague and enjoy its superb lifestyle. The hostel is located not far from the main train station (Hlavni nadrazi). It's also several-minute walk from the city centre. The staff are friendly and really helpful; they definitely like their job and are ready to give advice or provide necessary support at...

If I were staying in a Prague hostel long-term, this would definitely be the one I would choose. Free dinner every night with vegetarian options provided. Breakfast each morning for 30 CZK. Very good wifi and computers available for use. And though I was only there one night, there seems to be a nice sense of community and friendly and...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
