Nestled in the heart of Prague, The Emblem Prague Hotel receives high marks for its ideal location near major attractions while retaining a peaceful atmosphere. Guests repeatedly commend the hotel's spotlessness and the cozy, contemporary design of the rooms, despite occasional comments on their compact size and climate control. The modern ambiance and top-notch amenities, including a rooftop jacuzzi, enhance the stay, although a few visitors find certain facilities less accessible. The staff's outstanding service and hospitality are frequently highlighted, adding to the hotel's value, even though some consider certain services, like breakfast, to be on the pricier side.

I stayed here with my partner for 4 nights from 2nd February to 6th February 2020 which we had booked via Jet2 City Breaks. We emailed the hotel directly prior to our arrival to book a taxi transfer from the airport and they responded very quickly and arranged this for us. Our flight arrived ahead of schedule but the driver was already at the airport waiting for us and took our luggage. Taxi transfer cost 850czk each way.

Upon our arrival the staff were very attentive and we were fortunate enough to arrive just in time for happy hour! The happy hours are from 6pm to 8pm every evening and there are snacks and bottles of wine you can help yourself to! This was a lovely touch and we appreciated a glass of wine before dinner.

The hotel is in a perfect location for sight seeing, it is just a few steps away from the old town square which has plenty of restaurants and things to do and see. Wenceslas square is also a short walk away at around 10 minutes and the castle around 15 minutes away. We stayed in room 103 which was immaculate and spacious. The room had a safe which is easily used, tea and coffee making facilities and a minibar. Our room did not have a balcony as it was a standard room but I believe some other room types do.

We stayed on a room only basis however the ground floor had coffee and tea making facilities along with lemon water etc which was nice to have in the morning before heading out for the day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby which serve breakfast and this tends to be between 0830-1030hrs. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening either however the restaurant attached looked and smelt lovely when we walked past. I would recommend visiting Marina Ristorante which is just a 5 minute walk away, turn right out of the hotel and head towards the river. It is a lovely restaurant on a boat with views of the castle which is particularly stunning at night.

Ultimately, this hotel is of 5* standard and is in a great location nearby to shops, restaurants and tourist spots. The staff went above and beyond to ensure their guests enjoyed their stay. I would return to the Emblem Hotel if visiting Prague again.

I was flying into Prague to meet my Grandparents from Australia and staying at the Emblem. I emailed the concierge as my grandfather is aging and asked if they could accommodate him in a room with a walk in shower as I was worried about him slipping. (Climbing into a tub)
Erika wrote me back within hours, moved his suite before his arrival, got my grandparents flowers for their arrival and arranged all our transportation.
During our stay we went to dinners, opera and a river cruise all which were coordinated by hotel. Understanding his age we never had to ask and transportation was always radially available if he was tired and couldn't walk.
I have stayed at the Emblem 5 times and had wonderful experiences every trip and the restaurant down stairs (George Steak House) is a must try.
Thank you Erika and the team for always ensuring a wonderful stay at the Emblem. Look forward to seeing you soon.

We spent three nights at the Emblem having moved from the Hilton Prague. This is more like the hotels we prefer. We were greeted by an English speaking gentlemen who quickly checked us in. We had a King Dom room on the 5th floor, our window looking at the rear of adjoining buildings. The room was well laid out and the bathroom had separate bathtub and shower. The bed was comfortable. The temperature control worked well. The included breakfast was a continental breakfast but one could order omelets and other items from a menu for a fee. In the evening, the restaurant was Steak House. The hotel location is perfect as it's close to the Astronomical clock in Old Town Square in one direction and close to the Charles Bridge in the opposite direction. Of the three hotels we've stayed at in Prague, the Emblem is the one we will return to. Very impressed.

It was my first time to stay at the Emblem Hotel and will not be my last based our recent stay (my husband and I). From the moment we arrived we felt taken care of... Our bags were taken from us, we were asked to sit down on a lovely big sofa and offered a drink while they checked us in quickly and without fuss. We were shown to our room and had the facilities explained to us. While the rooms are not very big, the big bath was a great addition, as well as the Nespresso machine!! To make it more environmentaly friendly like many other 5 star hotels, I would have liked to see them use big reusable containers for their shower gels and conditioners etc, rather than the mini ones. Just an observation since so many other hotels are doing this. There were some things that made our stay extra special;happy hour 6-8 allowed us to chill out and meet other guests while drinking unlimited wine, fresh complimentary croissants in the mornings in the lobby, an amazing concierge service who we felt genuinely wanted to make our experience in Prague the best possible, offering restaurant suggestions, making reservations and suggesting things that we would enjoy doing based in the kinds of things we enjoy on vacation (mainly eating and drinking haha). Overall we had a truly 5 star experience and will actively seek out Emblem Hotels in the future based on our experience in this one. Thank you for a great stay 😊

All rooms exceptionaly small if you are seeking a spacious room this is not the place
No hanging room for clothes. They admit that their rooms are small and guess that they have quite a few.complaints about it. Lucky we were able to be moved into a disabled room which was nice.if i wanted to be upgraded to a suite would cost me €80 per night extra. On registering the guy there said that breakfast would be €20 each. When we decided to try it they said it waa €34 each which i thought was extortion and what i could see an empty restaurant wasnt worth it. Many other nice restaurants for breakfast away from the hotel. If it wasnt for Erica there i would comfortably ask for my money back. She was lovely and tried to help. I cant say i can recommend this place to anyone looking for a spacious room with a value for money

Dear Dreamer123456789, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us here at The Emblem and for taking the time to share your experience. I appreciate all of the feedback that I receive from my guests because I want to make sure that we constantly deliver a 5-star experience for every single person who walks through our front doors, so again, I am grateful for your comments. I would like to first thank you for your lovely and kind words about Erika and how much of a help she was for you. We all want our guests to feel at home here, so I will definitely share your compliments directly with her. On the other hand, I am so sorry to hear that your expectations were not met throughout your stay with us. I would like to take the time now to address some of the issues that you raised and, hopefully, shed some light on the situations that arose and how we will handle this moving forward. First, we do admit that our rooms are small. For this reason, we've tried to boost our complimentary amenities and open up all of the other spaces throughout the hotel (especially The M Longe and The M Spa) for our guests to use at their leisure. I'm happy we were able to accommodate you in a room better suited to your wishes while you were here, but in the future, we recommend a higher room category that offers the extra space. You can find all the room sizing options under the Room descriptions on our website. As for the breakfast pricing, I must extend my sincere apology for the confusion. The different prices you were quoted were a misunderstanding on the side of my staff, and I can promise that I have resolved this issue with better training for future guests who wish to purchase breakfast while they are in-house with us. Once again, I am sorry that this was misquoted to you, and I can tell you that one thing we offer for every guest who books without breakfast is a handy list of restaurants around town that we recommend for breakfast/brunch (including brief descriptions on why we think they are so great). We want every one of our guests to have the best time in Prague, so we try to go out of our way to make that happen, whether you dine with us or not. Overall, I must apologize that your expectations were not met during your stay. I hope I was able to shed some light on the issues that you raised so that you know we sincerely try to be the very best that we can be. We want to be your home-away-from-home in Prague, so we hope that you have a chance to travel back again in the future. I thank you again for your feedback. Kind Regards, Helena Valtrová General Manager

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice and very well located hotel. But that is something you expect from a 5 star hotel.

There were somethings that bothered me:
- The rooms are very small (and they know it)
- The eiderdown is crazy hot, made me sweat and had a bad sleep most of the nights

But for me, the worst thing was the lack of communication between the staff and their PR/Marketing team.
I received lots of nice emails, with travel tips and such.
One of them said if I checked in online, I would win a complimentary bottle of Czech red wine. I did the online check in, and never heard of the wine.
Another email told us they were offering "all day long breakfast" on January 1st (the regular schedule would be until 10.30). I had "normal" breakfast, but a couple of friends of mine which were traveling with us decided to have a late breakfast. When asked, the staff didn't know anything about the "all day long breakfast"... after insisting, somebody took then to the "breakfast", which consisted of plain croissant and coffee. Kind of disappointing.

And, on the last day, they tried to charge my friend from the cokes I had from my minibar and the room service that I ordered. We were in completely different rooms, I really don't know where did they get that from.

Not a bad stay at all, but these little details make all the difference when you decide to pay for an upscale hotel.

Dear 350diegom, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us here at The Emblem and for taking the time to share your experience. I appreciate all of the feedback that I receive from my guests because I want to make sure that we constantly deliver a 5-star experience for every single person who walks through our front doors, so again, I am grateful for your comments. First of all, I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed our nice atmosphere and prime location, and overall I'm glad you had a pleasant stay. I appreciate you sharing these compliments with us. As for the rest of the issues you encountered during your time here, especially concerning the miscommunication amongst my staff, I must sincerely apologize. You are absolutely correct that we had a breakdown of communication during your time here, and not only am I so sorry for the inconvenience but I promise that we have worked hard to make sure it doesn't happen again. I want to let you know that you should have received a complimentary wine after checking-in online; the entire breakfast should have been moved downstairs on the 1st of January as we mentioned over email; your friend never should have been charged for those items that you ordered. The New Year holiday was a busy time for us, and while I do not mean that as an excuse, it did show me exactly the areas where I needed to train our new staff members so that we can avoid all of these inconveniences in the future. Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback. We try hard to make sure every guest feels comfortable in our hotel and in our city, and we will continue to train hard, work hard, and do better. I hope that you will have the opportunity to travel back to Prague in the future, and I would love to welcome you once more at The Emblem. Kind Regards, Helena Valtrová General Manager

Just returned from a week stay at The Emblem which was fabulous. This was not our first time in Prague we had stayed in one of what you’d call the top and pricey hotels for a long weekend but specifically chose The Emblem for its location and its roof top terrace and jacuzzi - a real sun trap and a haven with wonderful view across the City. The weather was very hot whilst we were there and the jacuzzi provided a welcome relief from the sight seeing! A real highlight with the kids! Book in advance! Rooms great, they’re not on the small size at all perfectly big enough and we had a great little balcony which was a bonus. Air con was essential and worked really well. The hotel was very quiet, I’m not sure if there were many guests on our floor or in the hotel at all. Our room and public areas spotless, hand sanitiser etc everywhere. Breakfast was pleasant, although the basement setting not the best in the Summer it worked well under the current COVID requirements. Fabulous stay in every way. Big shout out to Erika, the concierge - catch her on arrival and tap into her knowledge and great ideas, she knows everything and is super helpful, really professional, the absolute best. Don’t honestly think we’ve come across anyone as good anywhere in the world! We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the spa who were so helpful in sorting out or jacuzzi bookings, never rushed us and provide towels! An amazing stay after being in lockdown in London for so long. Thank you for being so welcoming to us we will be back next year!

My husband and I went for a weekend mini break in March. The Emblem Hotel is lovely and the staff very attentive. We try not to use taxis abroad (it’s just a challenge we like to set ourselves, no other reason). The journey from the airport was very straightforward, get a 90 minute ticket, then get the 119 bus, then onto the metro and get off yards from the hotel.
Our room wasn’t massive but clean and comfortable, it had everything that you might need. We were a short walk from bars, restaurants and the Charles Bridge.
We were caught in the early stages of coronavirus lockdown so everywhere shut down by 8pm the first couple of nights and then virtually closed completely the Saturday and Sunday, though various bars and eateries were very enterprising so we could still get food and drink. The hotel did offer a complimentary breakfast under the circumstances and shops were open for food and drinks so it wasn’t hopeless.
We did walk to all the places of interest though obviously couldn’t go inside, we will definitely go again to see it at its best. We made it a mission to find the hanging Sigmund Freud sculpture and did manage that!
I would advise to think before you go to the adjoining bar and restaurant, the George, it is fine dining and the prices reflect this
Can’t wait to try Prague again next year

The Price is To high for what you get. You have to pay separate for jacuzzi and can‘t be sure to get a reservation for it for short Term. Scrumbled eggs at breakfest you have To do by yourself. However it‘s Directly in the City centre.

You will get a comfortable bed in a small modern room by a very high price with a low Service.

Dear f1mg1kzy1h0r0ccs2020, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us here at The Emblem and for taking the time to share your experience. I appreciate all of the feedback that I receive from my guests because I want to make sure that we constantly deliver a 5-star experience for every single person who walks through our front doors, so again, I am grateful for your comments. First, I would like to thank you for a few things you enjoyed about The Emblem. I am glad that you liked our central location, comfortable beds, and modern rooms. Since day one we have wanted guests to feel at home in the heart of Prague, so I appreciate these kind words. Regarding your issue with our rooftop Jacuzzi, I must say that it is a very popular feature that we have in our spa. Reservations for the Jacuzzi have always been made at an extra cost, and although we have this information everywhere on the web and in-house, I am sorry if you were unaware of this. As for the breakfast, I again apologize if you faced an inconvenience, but I will take some time to explain our current situation. Unfortunately, George Prime Steak restaurant (where our breakfast is normally prepared and served) is closed during the day because of COVID issues. This is why our current breakfast selection is served continental style, which is clearly stated everywhere you book a reservation with us. We have added the option of making your own eggs to our continental style breakfast in the lounge and also added the option of dining in our sister restaurant White Horse where eggs can be served. This is all a temporary set-up until we can get things back to normal with George Prime Steak, and in the case that you do not want to book breakfast with us (which is an option) we provide all our guests with a list of great restaurants where they can dine for breakfast. Once again, I am sorry that you had an underwhelming experience at The Emblem, and I hope I was able to shed some light on the issues that you raised. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Kind Regards, Helena Valtrová General Manager

This is, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed. The whole hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are lovely. The downstairs kitchen and lounge rooms are incredibly well designed with the only drawback being you’re tempted not to see Prague. The location is also absolutely perfect, each of The Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Staromestka metro station are within two minutes walk.
The staff are also lovely, and I particularly want to thank Katka, Jakub, and Petr who were so friendly throughout my stay. I really don’t think there’s a better place to stay in the whole of Prauge, so enjoy if you ever get the chance to come here!

There is one room (The Fumoir) which is a private room. This is the only room where you can smoke inside and offers a complimentary bar. The price for this room is 100 EUR per room per stay. I hope this helps! Kind Regards, Hannah
