Fantastic, low-key hotel in the heart of the old part of the city. The rooms were very basic but conforming to modern day needs and expectations (excellent shower units). The whole look of the rooms and the hotel takes one back in time to the 1930s, as if one is living in a flat. While everything may look old school,... More

Amazing attention to cleanliness, very helpful staff, 2 minutes walk from the best restaurants in Prague and 4 minutes walk from astronomical clock location could not get any better, went 3 hours early than check in time staff were very helpful and accommodated could not believe the views from the room. Will strongly recommend this place for staying in Prague.

Group of us stayed for two nights. Location is very good at the heart of the Old Town. Rooms are old fashioned in style and are large and comfortable up a stair from the courtyard adjacent to the reception. Ideal base for exploring the city. Reception staff always to hand and are friendly and courteous. Reception is located off the... More

Accessing the hotel with the car is a bit difficult since it is directly in the old city center. You can park on the street just opposite the hotel, only you need to pay a fee at the hotel and get a parking card for city center allowance. The hotel is in the old building, walking distance (150 m) from... More

Booked this city centre hotel a few months back due to its location and affordable cost. Communication with them in the intervening weeks was always prompt and courteous on their behalf and in very good english. The location of the hotel is only 50 meters from the Old Town Square and is excellently situated for all walking around the city.... More

I enjoyed my two nights at this hotel! My room even had a jacuzzi! Also loved the traditional looking room with its wooden furnitures! The TV was a bit too small, but the wifi was fast enough to stream videos online! The staff was also very friendly! Will definitely come back :) everything was to my satisfaction! Location is perfect... More

Just spent 5 days here. Lovely small friendly hotel perfectly positioned to explore old town Prague. Clean and comfortable and the staff were attentive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay.

We just stopped by for food and drinks after a sign caught our eye. The girl serving was very young but she was very pleasant. The drinks arrived very fast and the food did not take long. The prices were very reasonable although I don't think there should be such a difference in price between a beer and a latte!... More

If you like non-conformist hotels, with traditional furniture and an old parquet and plenty of personality, even if it does not have last model TV and top high-level services, this hotel is for you. in the centre of the city, near the historic squares, nevertheless is quiet and will not disappoint those who want to experience Prague. Breakfast with salted/continental... More

great location, old but comfortable room and bed, undesirable bathroom, no shower curtains of any sort, so the only option is to bath laying down inside tub, otherwise you will flood the bathroom, and it has no drain on floor at all. it is older, but consider clean, wifi only works in lobby, hotel staffs are helpful.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
