The food, both morning breakfast, which has a wide variety of choices, and the evening restaurant are outstanding. Our room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Every aspect of our stay was accommodated, including help to remove our disabled rental car by tow truck! The staff provides nothing less than their best. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room, for two adults and two children (in a separate, connected room) was spacious and beautiful.

This was our third night in Prague, having spent the first two on the Old Town side. Very happy to have made the move. I like "traditional good hotel service" that starts as soon as staff sees people approaching with luggage: smile + taking our luggage + seating us in the lobby + welcome drinks + taking our passports +...

I feel very lucky to have stayed here for business, but I most certainly plan to stay here if I come back for holiday. The service was incredibly attentive (but not overly so); rooms were charming and unique; breakfast had so many choices (without being overwhelming); location couldn't be better (quiet, yet close to everything); and happy hour each night...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
