Hotel Antik is in a wonderful location, a short stroll to the town square and restaurants within walking distance. We arrived very late11:30 and all 3 couples were exhausted. The lovely lady at the desk had been expecting us the day before but our flight was cancelled from Rome and then we left 3 hours late the following day. She... More

This hotel has a great location with all attractions within a short walking distance. Our room was comfortable and hotel staff was very friendly. They have a great breakfast buffet, in my opinion above average. There is no elevator in a hotel so you need to be prepared to carry all your luggage up the stairs. Also, there is a... More

Best hotel ever! Price was reasonable, probably couldn't stay in Motel 6 in the US for the price we paid for this fabulous little gem. Rooms were small, but that's true of all Europe unless you want to pay $500 for a room. However, the room was wonderful. Bed was comfortable and linens were luxurious. Bathroom was modern complete with... More

Antik Hotel is in a great location - 5 mins to Old Town Square. We stayed 3 nights midweek and found the location quiet and safe. Check in and Check out were efficient and straightforward, and a small issue with our key card was dealt with quickly. Despite the climb up to our rooms we were happy that they were... More

All staff we met were very friendly. Small hotel gave cozy, family athmosphere. Great breakfast. Our room was very spacious. Only minus was that the wifi didn't reach the room. I came by car and parking in Prague is expensive. The hotel helps arrange (costly but safe) parking nearby.

Very good location, good value for money. Unfortunately my room was just a little bit small and noisy due to the close lift. In the morning is impossible to wake up late because there is a nursery just below the window and if you don't hurry up the - good - breakfast run out... Furthermore - the worts thing -... More

The location, as described, is great. However, upon arriving we were informed that our room wasn't at the Antik Hotel, it was in a place called "Rezidence Dlouhá 17" which was across the road. The reception staff there were unfriendly, and often didn't speak English. They weren't even at the desk much of the time, meaning that you had to... More

Positives - Location Welcoming reception staff Spotless rooms and bathrooms Comfortable, clean beds Breakfast Negatives - Unfriendly bar staff Dirty dining room and bar - it is as if there are two different housekeeping teams for the bedrooms and for these areas. Lovely room on third floor. No elevator and no bellman. Scenic location near the old town square... charming views from the window. But it can be quite noisy at night (street noise, that is). There was a misunderstanding about the number of nights of my reservation, which had been booked by my hosts at the university. The reception staff was... More

Dear DanDanMian, thank you for your review. Unfortunately the room which you reserved was in the traditional building which doesn´t have a lift. Next time you visit, please inform us that you would like a room in the new building where there is a lift. Also in regards to the bellman this is available on request. We are really sorry... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
