I booked the hotel as a package with a flight via Expedia. Booking was simple and there were no problems. I believe that I got a good price. I've not been to Prague before and wasn't sure where to stay. What I did know was that I wanted to stay somewhere a little bit different that had easy access to...

Having seen the lovely reviews on TripAdvisor I decided to book with the the cheapest company which was hotels.com. I was clear about the fact that there is a Sophie's hostel & a miss Sophie's hotel and booked miss Sophie's - when the booking came through it was booked for the hostel not the hotel. I contacted the hotel directly...

My partner and I stayed at Miss Sophie's Hotel for 2 nights at the start of October and we had a wonderful stay. The room was so nice! It was clean, with a quirky and fun design and a really comfy bed. The WIFI was fast and the complimentary hamper with a handwritten note was a really lovely gesture that...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall, a nice stay. The front desk folks were really sweet - wrote us a note with goodies and sparking wine. Rooms are small but due to the hotel being at a convenient location, makes up for a good experience.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull when we had a little problem with our roomcard they solved it properly and quick. We did not try the breakfast so i can not...

We had a great stay at Miss Sophie's! We were greated in our room with a lovely hand written note and gift basket (the secco didn't last long!). The rooms are fantastic and very tastefully decorated. If you still want to hang out in the hostel and meet people you can. It's a nice 20 minute walk into the old...

I absolutely loved this hotel! My friend and I had travelled to Prague for her 30th Birthday and she was the one who discovered this little gem. It's down a small cobbled street about a 20 min walk away from all the sights, and I can honestly say I've never slept so well on a city break. I found it...

The receptionist Reuven was very helpful and nice. The breakfast had good value for money. The only problem was the shower who didn't have a normal water pressure. You can easily walk from the hotel to any spot in the old city. If you have some time there are two escape rooms very close to the hotel, just ask the...

We were greeted by very friendly staff and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome hamper waiting for us in the room. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
