An excellent example of bohemian chic without compromising on a high standard of quality. The hotel has a strong individualist ethic which is refected in the quirky decor. It has an easy charm which is reflected by the attitude of the staff: who are friendly, helpful and welcoming. They also know their stuff. The info they have is upto date...

Stayed here for just one night in really attractive room with lovely personalised touches. Each room had a lovely welcome basket with prosecco and snacks. There was a lovely little garden area downstairs at reception too. They offer an excellent airport shuttle bus service which meant all 5 of us could travel back to the airport together. They were even...

Stayed at Miss Sophie's Hotel with friends in April 2016 on a recommendation, and it really enhanced our trip to Prague. As first time visitors to the city we very quickly became accustomed to our surroundings thanks to the location of the hotel, which is within walking distance to the Old Town Square and also situated nearby Prague's excellent metro...

I literally just left Prague a few days ago but I couldn't leave Europe without writing a review of Miss Sophies hotel. WOW! The location is amazing! It's about 20-30 mins from everything (I'm from NYC so walking is what I do). The train station was about 3 short blocks from the hotel and all other transportation you would need....

Stayed in Miss Sophie's for a night in May. Was very pleased with the room. Though small, it is well equipped and decorated. Nuno helped to check us in and was very kind to help us in orientating the city with recommendations on attractions etc. The map provided by the hotel is very handy. Handwritten welcome letter from nuno and...

My stay at Miss Sophie's was great. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. The location felt safe and convenient, and put me in walking distance from all of the attractions. There was a tea kettle in the room, which worked out perfectly as I arrived sick. The room was cute and comfortable. Shower had plenty of...

This hotel is fabulous. The rooms are clean and newly decorated, with lots of amenities (including a very generous welcome basket with wine and snacks), and the employees who work here are very welcoming and friendly. While not immediately adjacent to the Old Town, the hotel is very close to Wenceslas Square and just two blocks from a metro station....

The room was in very good size. It was very clean and tidy. The bed was a little to hard for me, but that is my own opinion. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast can be bought separate. It was very nice, very fresh. I would come back next time I am in Prag.

Hi. This weekend was given to us by our children when we got married after 35 years! They checked on tripadvisor when they decided which hotel to choose. The choice fell on Miss Sophie's hotel. It was absolutely perfect. When we arrived 10 in the morning they offered us breakfast while they prepared our room, ( check in was 1500)....

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
