stayed at Hotel Hastal to celebrate a birthday with friends, chose this hotel for its great location and was not disappointed ! Easy reach to all the sights including tram use, yet still a quiet location for resting. Comfy beds and soft pillows, plenty of room, shame about the noise from the elevator though as it disturbed us from 7am...

My husband and I had a delightful stay at this charming hotel, that also comes with a fantastic location. We spent six nights (Oct 7-12) in room #33, facing the street, but double windows insured no noise problems--not even over the weekend--the walls of the room were well insulated and sound proofed. Very nice sized room, comfortable beds, with large...

A lovely experience in a lovely City - everything we wanted within walking distance and being central we could return to refresh ourselves from time to time - assisted by good advice from Tom at Reception and copious free Tea, Coffee and Wine. The Breakfast was excellent.

I had a fabulous time in prague and very much enjoyed my stay at hotel hastal. The location of the hotel is very close to all the sites I wanted to see in prague so I was able to walk everywhere. The breakfasts at the hotel were very good. Thanks to Thomas for all your great service! Dennis D

It,s a small hotel near the Old Town. We've got a bottle of a good spanish wine on the beginning. The staff is very plesant. The place is very quiet - you don't hear the noise from the restaurants or clubs nearby. It is tasteful furnished in a good Czech style.

Dear fellow travellers, I would like to congratulate hotel Hastal in Prague on the way they extend their hospitality to their guests! It is a very unique 4-star hotel and one of the last family-run hotels in the centre of the city! Its receptionists are great, their breakfasts varied and well-presented and their WIFI running fast 24 hours a day....

We enjoyed our three night stay here. We found this hotel in the rick Steve's book (ask for the discount) Staff was friendly and English speaking. Wifi had a decent signal. Breakfast was included and hot. We walked everywhere. Minutes away from old town. The room was also clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for two days. Easy walk or cab from the train station. Room and bath were great and large by European standards. Breakfast was great. Staff at front desk very helpful. Ask for a room that does not face the street as there is considerable noise from a nearby restaurant/bar that stays open late but otherwise it was...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
