Staré Město (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

We had the most fantastic 3 days staying at this hotel in the Old City of Prague. The staff are what makes this hotel great. Martin, the Concierge, was a mine of information and helpfulness along with being a really genuinely nice guy. He was supported by Jan, the Porter, who

Awful experience & very disappointed. Booked and paid extra for a 'room with a view' i.e. of the Astronomical Clock or Old Town Square, well in advance. On check-in the Concierge kept us chatting, the bombshell was then dropped when the guy on Reception handed over the room

Dear Madam, firstly I would like to thank you for your stay with us. We appreciate your honest review regarding your recent visit in the Grand Hotel Praha. Unfortunately I have to confirm that we were not able to offer you your reserved Deluxe room facing the Old Town Square .Therefore we've been trying to offer you compensation , finally you accepted the Voucher for consumption in one of our restaurants at the equate amount for the difference between the room categories. Please be informed I personally was waiting for you at the reception for 15 minutes and then I had to leave for the meeting. My colleague at the reception desk tried to offer you several rooms and again the compensation as an excuse. In this way , once again I apologize for the troubles we have caused you. With sincerely Jana Jarosova

We did walk there one morning to catch a train to Pilsen. However we didn’t have any luggage. I could have probably drug one smallish bag along without any trouble.
