A wonderful hotel tucked away in a quiet street in central Prague! All staff working at the hotel were very polite, approachable and helpful, speaking good English. In particular the receptionist at checkout (3.45am on 18/2/17) was very helpful - we spoke to him the night before about getting us a taxi for our early departure and in the morning...

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Room was a decent size, cleaned daily to a very high standard and had a small minibar. Breakfast had nearly every food you could need, including a omelette and waffle station. The 'Noodles' restaurant had a huge selection of foods from a variety of countries and a varied drinks menu, service was great here too. The...

Nice hotel with a central location close to Wenceslas Square and the main train station. Staff are all fluent in English and very willing to help. On arrival one of the rooms allocated to us was already in use by another guest and this was not discovered until we went into the room and found all their belongings in there....

Great location and the hotel and staff were fine. Room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a great choice at breakfast. The main problem was the construction work next door to the hotel. It was very noisy and started at 7am making a restful lie in impossible. We did move rooms to try and get...

Hotel Yasmin is all about location due to its proximity to old town square, shopping areas, and other landmarks in prague. Rooms are not that spacious with limited amenities, breakfast was fine with very small serving dishes so as they would limit your food consumption. All in all it's a good hotel for a short stay to explore the city

We went in the cold winter of late Jan to Feb and I must say the heater in the room makes the stay and sleep very pleasant for us. It was minus 5 degrees almost every night and we were warmly tugged in bed without feeling the chill. Only issues we had to get used to was the strange huge...

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Yasmin for 5 nights to celebrate his 40th birthday. When we got to our room, hotel staff had arranged a bottle of bubbly to help with our celebrations - this was a nice touch. Our room was modern, clean and spacious. The hairdryer in the bathroom stopped working during our stay and the...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
