Located just behind the Post office, a narrow house front will lead you to a modern hotel. There is a wi-fi that works and is included, The rooms are tidy and have good AC/heating. The breakfast is plentiful, almost scandinavian :) You have good connections as both tramlines and the metro are just two blocks away.

My friend and I gave just returned from a three nights stay at the hotel Yasmin. Situated in a quiet side street about a 5 minute walk from Wenceslas Square. The hotel Yasmin is clean and very bright. The reception area and breakfast room have many mirrors which can be rather disorienting. However, that said, the staff at the hotel...

This was a very good hotel with comfortable beds, high standard of furnishings and delicious breakfasts of anything and everything you could possibly desire! It was a very convenient location near the station and all the major attractions. Pretty big hotel so not much of a personal touch but fine for our needs.

The hotel was great value. The room was big, clean and the bed was comfy. The shower room had a powerful shower and was spotless. The location was great, 10 minute walk through Wenceslas square to the old town. You can cut through the restaurant which leads through an arcade and straight into the square. Breakfast was excellent with a...

We were a party of 32 who have just returned from a 3 night break. Prior to travel I had arranged a coach transfer from airport. The driver was waiting and deposited us at a beautiful modern building in the heart of Prague. Check in was seamless and the rooms, all 16 of them, were beautifully appointed. Breakfast was plentiful...

What a great hotel!! This hotel is very modern and in a great location. It is only a short walk from the main square, restaurants and shops. We arranged a taxi from the airport with the hotel before travel. The guy was there waiting for us and it was very quick and easy. We checked it straight away and the...

Great location, minutes from wensceslas square and old town. Comfortable room with lovely clean bathroom. Even had time for a massage - the room is a little strange with the massage beds on the floor, but honestly the best massage I have ever had and such great value. Breakfast had a good spread of staples and hot options, with an...

The hotel is beautifully designed and location is perfect. There is a back entrance to Wenceslas Square if looking to go here but the hotel's front is actually located on a nice, side, quiet street so if you want peace and quiet or fun and business of a city break this is a perfect hotel for either. The only small...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
