I stayed at Prague Inn with a friend in early March, and at that time the price was super cheap, so it was great value for money thanks to the location at a walking distance away from all major attractions. We loved the room and breakfast - the only negative aspect were thin walls/poor sound proofing. Basically loud crowds at...

Perfect base point to explore from, a very nice hotel, we'll maintained and really comfy beds! Friendly staff who all spoke excellent English, included breakfast was tasty and of good variety. The air conditioning in our room didn't work but didn't bother us in chilly February. We'd go back and recommend to others for the location alone for your first...

I can't find one bad thing to say about the hotel. It's location is by far it's biggest advantage. Metro station is right outside where you have a supermarket with reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel just have been renovated so everything is new. We got upgraded to a larger room with sofas and...

Very central and easy walking to the main sights of Prague. Our room was clean and modern with a lovely big bathroom. Each floor seems to have it's own wifi hotspot so no problems with the signal. Reception staff were very friendly, as were the staff at breakfast. Breakfast was good - nice choice of hot food (eggs, sausages, bacon,...

A nice hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was good value and a great breakfast was included, would definitely recommend. Only downside was that it was a bit noisy at night but that was because the hotel was right on Wenceslas Square.

My wife looked at many hotels, but couldn't find one at a better price for the excellent location. We look out over the square, and can see all the Xmas festivities going on below. Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location, especially if you have a front room overlooking Wenceslas square. I couldn't stop watching the world passing by during the Christmas market! Beautifully clean, immaculately furnished, very comfortable bed, and surprisingly quiet given the location. Good breakfast buffet. Just a couple of words of warning for anyone with mobility limitations;...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
