I went there with my friends and couldnt think of a better hostel to stay. It's located in the town center, close to some of the major touristic spots and easy to arrive by using public transportation. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the breakfast and the recepcionists were helpful

I really enjoyed the location of this hostel. It is within walking distance of many sights in Old Town and close to public trans to get to further sights. My room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was separated into a shower room and the smallest toilet room you could imagine. Both were incredibly clean. I would stay again... More

This is a great place to stay if you want to stay close to the city center. Even a friend from Prague that came to pick me up said it was a great location. Staff is friendly enough and the rooms are clean. This hostel has also seen some upgrades to their security as well. Clubs, groceries, main sights to... More

Prague Tyn surprised me during my visit to Prague not only by being 1 min on foot from the Old Town Square but also by its staff and rooms! Prague Tyn is modern, well located and I can only recommend for solo travellers or in a friends trip!

I stayed in Hostel on 25-28th of October. I came to see the city and this Hostel was a perfect place to stay, because it's very close to all the most interesting sights. The correlation between price and quality is reasonable, I was glad to have this light breakfast + sandwich + my quite comfy bed in a 8-beds room+... More

It's well located in the center of Prague and you can reach it from the airport by bus and metro for about 1.50$. The 6 bed dorms were spacious and clean and the staff was friendly. What was missing was getting easely connected with other travellers but otherwise a great place to stay.

First time staying in hostels-backpacking Europe for a month. We stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm. This hostel was very clean and very modern. The bathrooms were immaculate and the bedrooms were also spotless. The staff was very nice and helpful when checking in-answering any questions we had or making recommendations on where to eat.

Our stay started off with quite a rude employee and a difficult check in. The hostel is clean and has the basics. But the vibe was set at check in and unfortunately hostels don't have much to offer if the people aren't at least friendly. Location is great, close walk to the old town square and close to shopping and... More

Everybody should stay here. Simple as that. The rooms are spacious and clean. The showers and toilets are immaculate. It is in a great location and the staff are just fantastic. I would particularly like to mention Petra. She is very helpful and so so friendly

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
