So I read all the reviews that said it was loud and booked it anyway. Well, it is a popular bar so if you have the windows open, you do hear lively chatter. But when we decided to turn in, we closed the double windows...More

We really learned something: read the worst reviews first and believe what is said!
We know what exellent 3-star or 4-star hotel means, so don't exept much if you decide to visit this hotel, it's overrated and overpriced B&B. We fell to those great reviews:...More
Exceed my expectation ! We have a very nice room #22, with a separate foyer and study room. Since there is 6 hours time difference from USA, I can wake up in the middle of night surfing web without interrupting my daughter's sleep. Great location...More
We stayed at the Lokal Inn for three nights. Our room was sizable and clean. It was a perfect location. Close to the river and Karlov Most bridge, an easy walk up to the castle and the Strahov Monastery, and off the main path so...More
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Since the hotel is situated in the historic centre of Prague (this part of Prague is very small and protected by special municipal laws), we cannot offer this service. Our guests are sent to the closest underground parking garage, which is on náměstí Jana Palacha (Alšovo nábřeží 12) and directly below the Rudolfinum, the seat of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. It is a very large space and there is no need to reserve a spot in advance. The price is 660 CZK/24 hours. Its GPS coordinates are 50°5'24.609"N and 14°24'54.759"E.
If you do not mind parking a little farther away, we suggest that you do so at Hotel Pyramida on Bělohorská 24, Praha 6, which is cheaper – 350 CZK/24 hours. Its GPS coordinates are 50°5'7.958"N and 14°22'47.914"E. Take Tram 22 from there to the Malostranské náměstí stop: you will be back at the hotel in roughly 20 minutes.
You can drive your car to our hotel, check-in, drop off your baggage and then go in search of a parking spot. The receptionist will be glad to give you directions. The GPS coordinates for the Lokál Inn are 50°5'15.554"N and 14°24'27.093"E.
