We stayed here for 4 days after Christmas 2011. From the outside, the hotel does not look very inviting and the reception is a little dark. However the rooms which are across the courtyard are bright, clean, warm and spacious. The location of this hotel is just the best. Near enough to Charles Bridge to walk to the other side,...

As mentioned by others, the location of the Red Chair Hotel is terrific. Close to all the major sites, but on a quiet street. We really appreciated the very helpful and friendly staff. Also, as we arrived quite late at night, their offer to arrange car service to pick us up at the airport made our arrival very easy. Would...

I booked the single room, but was given a free upgrade to a double room. The staff of the Red Chair Hotel are all very helpful and happy to assist you with any request you may have. They were able to provide (a selection of!) gluten free bread for breakfast. The breakfast itself is a standard continental one. My room was...

We have just spent 4 nights in Prague and have absolutely loved it. The Red Chair has been a perfect location for us. We have walked everywhere & the staff are extremely helpful with giving us directions, and showing us on the map where the places are we want to go plus making suggestions on where to eat. Our room...

I have to say that in all of my travels through Europe this summer I have never met a bet ter front desk person than Gabriella who manned the front desk at the Red Chair. I would have been more than satisfied with the property, but she made it very special. She gave us 5 - star treatment at a...

If you are planning to go to Prague, must book this hotel. The best thing about this hotel was that the stuff were very amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. When you arrive to the hotel, the stuff will give you a map and will explain tourist attractions and how to getting around. Especially Premysl, he was a such...

Very Well located. Limited service. Not a lot of choice in breakfast. If you arrive a bit later. You need to ask because they dont refill the buffet necessarily. Staff are very young, helpfull but could be a bit overwhelmed. Room is very basic, offivial photos on their web site look way nicer that reality.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Red chair hotel. The location was lovely - quiet - but within a stones throw of Charles Bridge , the rooms were lovely and the staff helpful and friendly in particular one young man called Premysl , possibly one of the most helpful people we have ever met ! He went out of...

A perfect location for all the main tourist sites, lovely rooms and warm friendly staff. Would have been a 4 star rating if only for air conditioning and a less noisy street every night! Look to book directly with the hotel rather than through booking agencies who seem to have charged more for our stay.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
